Goosebump(ON HIATUS)

Chapter 9

"Oh Shit..."Goosebump muttered.

"Young girl what in the world was the black spiral you just came out from?" Goosebump's mom questioned her

"Ur.....I was trying to practise for my talent show coming this friday."Goosebump stuttered and said without an ounce confidence.

"Don't try to cheat me girl" Goosebump's mom said in a threatening voice

Goosebumps heart was beating fast like really fast!!It was as fast as a cheetah.Beads of Perspiration rolled down from her forehead.

"Why can't the magic come now when I need it the most."Goosebump muttered

Just as she said that a blinding light brightly lit the room blinding Goosebump's vision.
Instantaneously it disappeared and Goosebump saw her mom lying on the floor as if she were sleeping.

Startled Goosebump ran towards her mother and tried to wake her up by vigorously shaking her but she did not twitch at all. That's when she heard a voice in her head, "The spell you put was for her to forget the last hour she will wake up in a few minutes!"The strangers voice said.

Goosebump breathed a sigh of relief and sat down on the bed watching her mom to wake up any time.

"Beep..Beep.." Goosebump's phone pinged informing her that she recieved a message.

Goosebump took her phone, unlocked it and noticed that the message was from an unknown number. The message said Meet me at your backyard at exactly 12 midninght-Ares.

As soon as she finished reading the message she saw her mother stirr awake.

Quickly pushing her phone aside Goosebump bent down on her knees and tended to to her mom.

"What happened?"Goosebump's mom questioned her

"As soon as you entered you just fainted on the ground"Goosebump replied

"Oh okay darling thank you for helping me,Remember to complete your homework for school okay?"Goosebump's mom told her.

"Okay Mom!"Goosebump replied monotonously.

After her mother left the room Goosebump opened the phone again and reread the message that was sent by Ares...

At that point of time it was already 8pm! So Goosebump had 4 more hours before she had to meet Ares.

Goosebump ran down the stairs and asked"Mom can I camp out in the backyard tonight, everyone says it is a full moon and the view is going to be amazing!"Goosebump asked.

"Yah I also heard that I think I will join you too since we have'nt spent time together as mother and daughter"Her mom said in an enthusiastic tone.

"Okay Mom I will set it up"Goosebump said in a non-enthusiastic tone.

Goosebump ran all the way to her room and had to tell Ares to come in quietly as her mother would be there with her too.

She types....

Goosebump: I told my mom that I would sleep at the backyard today but she insisted on sleeping with me so any way ulyou can help with this?
