"I couldn't introduce you to my family because they were trying to set Aera and I up." Taehyung mutters under his breath but Yeonah manages to catch every single word.

The arch on her eyebrows are growing evidently deeper and she can't help but let out a scoff.

"And you didn't bother telling me this at all?" She asks incredously before continuing, "Taehyung, the obvious problem with our relationship is the failed communication between us." She reasons.

Taehyung lowers his head in defeat, knowing that he can't possible refute her statement. He knows it was true, in fact, he has always wanted to tell Yeonah about Aera.

But Taehyung never gained the courage to do so. He never expected that Yeonah would find out about Aera. He never expected her to be the reason of their break up.

Yeonah continues to stare at Taehyung in silence and after noticing the guilt painted over his expression, she rolls her eyes and gets up from her seat.

Before leaving, she mutters one last sentence.

"I'm assuming that our conversation ends here? It was a good attempt of trying to solve things, I guess." Yeonah shrugs but before she can even step away from him, a firm grip tightens itself around her wrist.

She is forced to turn around to face the man again, and this time, his eyes are filled with a little fury and curiousity.

"You didn't explain to me why you pretended to be Nara either. Was it fun fooling me?" The man retaliates.

Yeonah's face pales while taking nervous gulps. Her eyes glances slightly at the seat across him and after much hesitation, she returns to her seat.

"After our break up, I felt guilty. Even though, I really shouldn't have." She juts, "When you messaged me, I didn't know what to do. I just panicked. Of course, I always had the intention of telling you eventually but you got to me first." She explains calmly.

Taehyung nods and buries his face deep into his palms out of shame. "I guess this was really all my fault." He groans softly.

It has been several days since the meeting with Taehyung and Yeonah isn't sure the both of them were standing now.

Yeonah feels a little upset with the revealation that Taehyung had never considered telling her about Aera. Yeonah believes that the reason for the break up was because the pair failed to communicate properly towards the end of their relationship.

On the other hand, the guilt weighing on Taehyung's shoulder was almost sinking him to the ground. He had never known the reason for the sudden break up, considering the fact that he didn't know Yeonah knew about Aera.

But with this, he finally realises that he has been the one at fault this entire time. All this time that he has spent blaming Yeonah, it has always been his fault in the first place. He realises that not telling his ex-girlfriend about Aera made it seem like he was hiding something and even, made it seem like he was being unfaithful.

He isn't sure if he should've apologised to Yeonah. For months, he has been painting a negative image of Yeonah. He has weeped for weeks. But all this while, Yeonah had been suffering more than him.

After a lot more moping, Taehyung finally decides that Yeonah deserves a proper apology. Most importantly, he decides that he still needs Yeonah to he his partner for the project.
