Liam
We continued to drive to the park and Carson just sat in the seat beating her hands on her thighs to the rhythm of the music.
Once we finally got there we both got out of the car and I grabbed the blanket out of the back seat and walked around to the passenger side to open the door for Carson.
"Thanks Li," she grinned and took my hand to walk through the empty park
You would think that there would be teenage girls everywhere in the par, but it was quite the opposite. There was no one here but us. The boys and I's security team understands Carson's disability more than even the boys probably. The head of our security team has a daughter that's deaf, she's only a few years younger then me, but they understand my need to protect her. So of course, understanding that we don't want screaming girls everywhere I take Carson, they usually find a way to rent out the area and secure the perimeter of the place we are. Of course it is a bit pricy but its worth it.
I saw one of the black vans of in one of the parking lots far off in the distance, so I knew that we wouldn't have any problems today. I laid the blanket down on the ground and sat down. Carson followed and sat along side of me, putting her walking cane onto the grass.I pulled her over to me on the blanket so what she could rest her head on my lap. she kicked her shoes off and got comfortable before I started the book on my iPhone.
The person speaking the words written in the book filled the silent air of the park as we both laid back on the blanket listening.
Slowly my eyes began to shut and I drifted off to sleep along with Carson.
_
"Liam, Liam wake up. I hear someone wake up."
My eyes jolted open, even she knew that there wasn't supposed to be here when we were. So this must have scared her, especially not being able to tell who or what it was.
I looked over the perimeter of the area we were in.
It was only one of our security guards, Maverick. Why he was walking towards us grumbling angrily I didn't have a clue.
But it looked like I was going to find out; and soon.
"Hello Maverick! What brings you out here into the park?" But really in my head I was asking:
"Maverick why the bloody hell do you feel the need to interrupt my girlfriend and I's date?"
I paused the book that was still continuing to play on my phone, although neither Carson or I new what was happening in it since we fell asleep.
Carson was sitting still but alert and trying to strain to see what was going on, but instantly relaxed at the sound of my confirmation that I knew who it was, and I was awake.
"I'm so sorry Liam, Zayn and Harry both just called me saying that they needed you in the studio now, the songs you recorded yesterday got lost in the studios computer and editing system, which means you have to completely redo everything from yesterday."
I rubbed my eyes with one hand and had my other around Carson's shoulder, and I just sighed.
Can't I just have one normal day?

Carson
Maverick explained why we had to leave our date. What a lovely thing to wake up too.
Not that I don't like Maverick or anything, he's actually the security guard who understands our... special situation more than anyone. His daughter has a disability as well, and its good to know that someone doesn't think I'm just a huge curveball thrown in these boys career. I know a lot of them think it. The makeup team, quite a few stagehands and security guards, and sometimes I've even caught the boys arguing with Liam about their safety and how much extra money, and time they have to put into making things 'handicapped appropriate.' I've only really ever heard them complain a couple times before, but I know that I can be a hassle, and I understand that with their field of work that they do it adds unneeded stress.
Liam helps me stand up and I brush off my pants from the grass that I know is most likely stuck to it, and we walk to the car together to head back to the studio.
I actually love the studio so much, I know the boys hate whenever they have to go in but I jet excited when I hear about it. Of course this time I wasn't really as happy as usual since its right in the middle of our planned day at the park, which never really happens considering how much work has to go into preparing it for us. But since I cant see the boys, which I have never actually seen them before in my life. Hearing the raw emotion in their voices in the studio, without all the hype and energy that you hear in a concert. To them when their in there, its just them and the song. Of course there is the goofy upbeat songs, but I love listening to their voices without thousands of screaming girls echoing it.
Or whenever you hear them editing the words, adding the instruments and other effects of the song, you get to experience the creation of a new song, a new story, a new thing that fans can feel a bond with. Maybe I just have to much time to think about this. But it really shows me who One Direction is without rumors and paparazzi in their faces.
Which in my opinion is my favorite version of them.
