Just a fan. {Sam Pottorff Fan Fic}

Chapter 2

"Layla." Sophia shook me awake. "Huh?" I opened my eyes. "We're here." She smiled at me. I shot up and looked out the window. I gasped. "Wow." Was all I could say. 

We walked off the plane, and to the luggage shoot to grab out bags. 

I grabbed mine, and Sophia grabbed hers. I grinned and we walked outside, not knowing where to go. "So, where were those apartments that you said were open?" I called a taxi.

On the ride to the apartments, I started thinking. 

*Flashback*

"Don't worry, Layla. When we get old enough, we we'll move out. We'll pack up. We'll leave. I can't stand it here." I nodded, wiping my tears. I smiled and looked up at her. She smiled back and stood up. She helped me up, and we grabbed out Pennt Boards, and rode home. 

*End of flashback*

"Hey Soph?" I looked at her. "Yeah?" She looked up from her phone. "Do you think...Do you think we'll be missed in Arizona?" I bit my lip. 

She sighed and locked her phone. "Lay, we've wanted to move here since 7th and 8th grade. This is the right choice. I promise." She smiled lightly and I nodded. 

The Taxi driver pulled up to the apparetments. "How much?" Sophia pulled out her wallet. i looked at her, and she whispered. "I got it." I smiled and she paid the man.

"Do yall need help carrying the bags?" His country accent rang. "No, we're good, thanks." I smiled and was about the close the door. "Oh, and, good luck." He grinned and I smiled, nodding. I shut the door and he drove off.

"Wow, Sophia, I love this." I smiled, plopping on the couch.  We'd already got settled and what not. She came and sat next to me. "So do I." She smiled looking at the blue walls.

My stomach started growling. I put my hand over it and looked at her. "Lunch?" I smiled and she smiled, nodding. 

I looked up some places to eat, we decided on a place called Daisy's diner. "Hey, It's only a couple blocks, wanna penny board?" She asked me. 

I grabbed my penny board, and she grabbed hers. We rode there, laughing and taking in the view.  

We finally got to Daisy's diner, and walked in. A girl named Lexi greeted us. "Take a seat." She grinned. We sat down in a booth and she took out drink order. 

After about 5 minutes, the door opened. i turned around to see who had came in. And it was none other, than O2L. I gasped and turned around, wishing Sophia would get back from the bathroom.

She finally did. I was super red, "What's wrong?" She frowned looking at me. Too my luck, they sat in the booth right next to us. I gestured towards them.

She did a double take. "Oh mu gosh! You're O2L!" She said, loudly. I turned even more red, (if that was possible). "Are yall fans?" Jc smiled. I looked ovet at them.

"Yeah we're huge fans." She looked over at me and snorted. I laughed a little and relaxed. We all started a conversation. The waitress asked if we wanted to have one big table, we were disturbing the other people by talking so loud.

"Sure!" Kian said before anyone could answer. I tried to stay calm, as did Sophia. We all sat at one table, I sat in between Ricky and Sam, while Sohpia sat in between Jc and Trevor. Kian sat next to Ricky, and Connor sat next to Jc. 

"So, Layla, right?" Sam turned to me. I smiled. "Yeah, I'm Layla." He smiled. "That's a pretty name." I smiled again. "Thanks." He almost started talking Ricky and Kian spit their drinks, and they both spilt on me. 

"AHHHHH." Ricky screamed, looking at me. I squeled as coke and ice hit my bare legs. I looked at Ricky, and started laughing. Sophia started laughing to, and soon, everyone was laughing.

"I'm so sorry." Ricky said after we calmed down. "Don't worry about it." I smiled. The waitress brought them new drinks.

We were all gathered outside, talking. Sophia and I had seemed to calm down, and not fangirl. (Which was quite surprising) 

It was getting dark, and we all had to go. "Hey, can we get your numbers?" Connor asked. We smiled and nodded, exchanging numbers. 

We said bye and we watched as they drove off. After they were out of site, we looked at eachother and screamed. "SOPHIA I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT JUST HAPPENED!" We jumped around for a minute, then rode home.

We got home, and I laid on the couch, grinning. "I'm gonna try to get some sleep." Sophia smiled. "Night." She walked into her room. 

I stayed there, on the couch, looking at the ceiling, thinking. 

My phone buzzed, interupting me. I looked at it, It was a text from Sam. 

I laughed at the name he put his contact as.

I grinned. "SOPHIA!" I yelled, running into her room.
