Your head perked up at the sound of footsteps, previously absorbed in a book. It was a Thursday afternoon, the ones where your Mother drags you to work with her, and you sit around bored out of your mind until she finishes with her session- thing, you're not actually to sure what it's called really. You never bothered to ask. You only call it a session because multiple angry-looking (in your opinion) kids all come at the same time and walk through the door at the end of the hallway, your Mother's door, and well you're pretty sure a group like this is called a session.

Footsteps aren't anything special. You hear them everyday, of course. The thing is, your Mother's door is the only door down this hallway. Well, the only door anyone's using. In reality there are three doors in this hallway, but only the one she occupies is being used. Nobody but her patients come down this way. And patients come down here every day you're here, so that's nothing special either. But, right now it is.

You see, at the moment it is three o'clock. Patients stopped arriving exactly two hours ago. Heck, the session's almost done. So, this begs the question. Who the heck is walking down this hallway.

Well, you have eyes, and you're about to find out.

[E/C] orbs glance up and down the hallway, and land on a group of people. The first thing you notice are two Monsters, who have been recently freed from the underground. The first one is a very tall... Goat lady? Nonetheless, she's wearing a long purple robe with some weird symbol that you've never seen before on it. Next to her is a considerably shorter Skeleton, with a blue jacket that looks extremely comfy, black shorts, and... is he... is he wearing pink slippers? Yes, yes he is. The Skeleton is wearing pink slippers. He's got a cheesily large grin on his face, hands in his pockets as he walks down the hallway next to the Goat lady. Despite the difference in height, he seemed to have no trouble keeping up with her. They were talking about something, so they didn't notice you staring at them. As an afterthought, you pulled up the book you had been reading previously and pretended to be reading it as you continued to stare at them. It'd be kind of awkward if they were to notice you blankly staring at them.

They were certainly interesting, but they weren't the only two in the group. Trailing a short bit behind them where three kids who looked around your age. The first was another Goat monster, who you assumed to be the tall Goat lady's son. He wore a green and yellow striped sweater, and a large, goofy smile adorning his face. Next to him was a human this time. The human looked very nice. They had a large smile on their face, short brown hair, and a similar striped sweater- this time, purple and blue stripes. They had on jeans, and a pair of bright blue sneakers- looked new. You couldn't really tell if this kid was a boy or a girl.

Then, finally, your eyes laid on the last kid. This one was a human as well. While the other two kids talked and laughed- well, the Goat boy talked, you didn't see the nicer-looking human move their mouth, but they moved their hands in strange symbols, you're guessing that's sign-language and that they're mute-, this kid had a large frown on their face, glaring at nothing. They looked like the other human a bit, to you. Their hair was the same length, and around the same shade of brown. They wore the same sweater was the goat boy. They had on some kind of dark brown pants, and what you assumed to be those combat boot things you'd seen around.

But, the most interesting part of this kid was his eyes. Bright red eyes. You were a little shocked for a second. You'd never seen anyone with red eyes before. You thought only albinos could have red eyes- guess you were wrong. You never expected them to be so pretty, as well. You don't think you'd ever seen prettier eyes before. Not even your own [E/C] orbs that you'd have been told were very pretty on many occasions seemed to measure up to this kid. Their cheeks had a rosy tint to them, you noted.

Then, this kid scared the crap out of you. You swear, they must be psychic or something. Because as you were analysing them- okay, staring at their eyes- they picked up their head from the dead ahead, glaring into the back of the Skeleton's skull, and looked at you. They looked right at you- as if they had felt you were staring at them, they turned their glare to you.
