Adolescence.

So Chase and I came up with a plan, it was kind of stupid but we both had a feeling it would work out. Chase and I would pretend to date, attempt to make Brody jealous and yea.. the rest will fall into place. But while Chase and I are fake dating I'll have to have a little 'makeover'. I got to ditch the nerdy look so Chase is taking me shopping today since it's Saturday.

*BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP*

The notifications on my phone buzzed violently, it was a message from Chase:

Be ready, I'll be there in 10 minutes.

I was already ready so I went downstairs to find my mother home for once, I mean she was sleeping but it's better than nothing, she deserves a rest. I left her a note on the table and headed outside to meet with Chase.

At the Mall

Chase and I went around to nearly shop in the mall picking out really cute outfits for me, he even bought me contact lenses so I don't have to hide behind my big black frames anymore. Last but not least, it was fine to do my hair, I was considering dying it a honey brown or a purple, yeah I'm going to go with purple! 'This is gonna be so awesome!' I gave myself a cheeky smirk in the mirror before I sat back in the chair and the hairdresser began her magic.

The next day

The next day I woke up extra early to wear my first brand name outfit! I was so excited for this, today is going to be madness; I decided to wear this 'Adidas' crop too jumper thingy, it was black and white - it was pretty cute I guess, with that I wore light blue jeans, a plain black cap and a 'Moschino' bag, it was black and gold it was pretty cute also. Since the hairdresser straightened my hair yesterday I decided to tie it back and leave it in a pony tail, I didn't know my hair was this long, it only comes below my shoulder when it's curly but when it's straight, Jesus Christ - you'll never know what shrinkage is. I looked in the mirror and realised something was different, I was missing my lipgloss! I quickly applied some before my phone buzzed violently, again. I guessed that Chase was outside and was ready to take me to school, I grabbed my glasses and quickly put them in my bag before rushing out of the house.
"Hey Chase,"
"Maya...you look amazing!" Chase's eyes roamed my body, these jeans fitted me in the right place and he knew that.
"Thanks." I blushed. He opened the car door and let me in, just like a real gentleman; I'm sure this is going to work.

At school

When we arrived at school, Chase and I went over the plan one more time just to make sure that we were on the same page. Once that was over with, Chase came around to open the car door for me, he took me by the hand and carried my bag; treating me like I was a princess or something. Once people in the parking lot realised what was happening, they thought I was a new girl or something. All I could hear was,
"Who's that? She's hot!"
"Is that a new girl?"
I was amazed at how many people didn't notice me before now, Chase decided to show off for the crowd and gave me a small kiss on the cheek before walking into school.
Once we got into school I decided to take my cap off, I let my hair out; it was a jungle of cascading bright purples and pinks jumping out of my hair, I loved it and I also loved the attention I got with it.

Chase and I walked hand in hand past Janaéh and Brody; we decided to show off for the crowd again, but little did Chase know, I haven't done this before. Before I could even say anything else his lips crashed into mine, moving in perfect sync. My first kiss? It's finally happening, and with the person I expected it to not be from? Wtf!
Chase's tongue lined my bottom lip, asking for permission from me, I parted my mouth slightly and allowed him in. Our tongues fought for dominion, but of course, I wasn't doing too well; it was my first kiss after all. After a while we pulled away from each other, grinning like a couple of fools. It was like there was no one else around us, just Chase & I. That's until Janaéh interrupted us, she looked at me with envy as I swayed my purple hair past her face; I mean damn, Brody looked pretty jealous too.

I took Chase around the hallway and into a class room, I needed to speak to him where no one could hear us.
"Chase, you know you took my first kiss?"
"Well it didn't seem like the first from what I felt." He smirked at me flirtatiously. I began to shift uncomfortably under his stare, I've never felt like this before... a warm substance was coming from my downstairs area.
"Hey, u-um Chase, maybe we should get to class now?" I spoke nervously, I wasn't used to this feeling, I didn't know what was happening to my body.
"Sure, lets go, Cupcake." He took my small hand into his and we walked to class.
I've never been so close to a boy before, it's weird. Like they're a completely different species. I analysed every part of him, his black hair which had grey highlights, his perfect peachy skin; his small freckles and his button nose. He has plump pink lips, I've never seen a white person with such good lips before! I've never realised how tall he was until now, he must be around 6'2" or even 6'3",
He was a lot taller than me, compared to my 5'8" frame, I was quite large; or curvaceous I should say, on the other hand he was not skinny nor really buff and filled with muscles. He was the image of pure perfection.

Me on the other hand, not so perfect but I wasn't bothered by that.

I wasn't perfect, but that was the one thing I liked about me.
