Chapter One ~ Mr. Firefist and Ms. Afton

~ Katelyn's POV ~

I yawned.  Today was gonna be the first full day of Travis being here.  I also had to introduce Travis to my dad today, too.  I was in my black, dark gray, and light gray pajama pants, and my blue tank top.  I grabbed some clothes and went to the bathroom.  I put on a long white skirt, a blue top, a pair of nude heals, and a pair of blue sunglasses, and I curled my hair.  Pic below ⬇️

I walked out the door to see Travis walk out of his room, half asleep, with his snowy hair all messed up.  Everyone knows that Travis rolls around in his sleep, though he never told us why.  I laughed and his eyes shot open and his head spun around to see me.  I said to him, "Dork, you really have to take better care of your hair."  His jaw dropped, his eyes still wide.  He looked me up and down, and I raised an eyebrow.  I took off my sunglasses and gave him a confused look.  He, somehow, managed to let out, "Y-You look...  Gorgeous..."  I felt a light blush come on my face, and I quickly shook my head.  "W-Whatever, j-just go and fix youself up..." I put my glasses back on, and walked down the stairs.

~ Travis's POV ~

I watched Katelyn's hips sway as she walked to the stairs. I shook my head and thought, She's too good for me... Or maybe I'm not good enough for her... Ugh... Not to mention I'm meeting her dad today... Her last name is Firefist, right? Yeah... Alright I have to call him Mr. Firefist... Sigh... I had better go get fixed up... Like what Katelyn said... I went back in my room, grabbed some clothes, and went into the bathroom. I put on a pair of green jean-shorts, a white shirt, and I grabbed some dark reddish-black sunglasses, and a pair of black and white nike flip flops. Pics below ⬇️

I came out of the bathroom and basically ran down the stairs, to see Katelyn leaning with her back against the frame of the door. I walked to her and asked, "R-Ready to g-go?" She looked at me and said, "Y-Yeah I'm r-ready... Ugh..." She stuttered, mocking me. She then asked, "Stutter much?" I rubbed the back of my neck and replied, "Well I mean, I'm gonna meet your dad soon... And if the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, I REALLY don't want him to hate me..." I shivered, thinking about what he could do to me, knowing what Katelyn can do.  I shivered when I thought about it, and Katelyn saw.  She chuckled, and said, "Come on, dork..."  She began out the door, and I followed her.

~ Time Skip: 20 minutes later ~

~ Travis's POV ~

I was sweating.  Well, not literally.  Just, mentally AND metaphorically.  Katelyn's DAD!!!!!  The woman of my dreams is introducing me to her dad in a few minutes!  We walked to the restaurant on the island resort, and to a table that seated an older woman with grayish-black hair, and dark brown eyes, and looked slightly like Aphmau.  Next to her sat an older man with blue hair and blue eyes.  That's him...  I thought.  I collected myself, and gathered some, of my self confidence.  The man got up, and hugged Katelyn.  He said, with a loud, booming, voice, with a country accent, "My Sugar Pea!  I'm so happy to see you!"  Katelyn giggled, and said, "It's so good to see you, too, Dad!  I--"  She saw the woman with black hair, and said, "Ms. Sylvanna?!  What are you doing here?!"  The woman stood up, smiled, and said, "Katelyn!  Hello!  It's so great to see one of my mi ja's friends, again!"  She looked to me, and said, "Wait a minute...  Travis?  As in, Aphmau's Not Alone Buddy, Travis?"  I smiled, and replied, "Yup, that's me..."  Katelyn then said to her dad, "Oh hey, Dad!  I wanna introduce you to someone!  Yo, dork!  C'mere!"  I hesitantly walked to her, and she said to her dad, "Dad, this is my, f-friend, Travis Valkrum.  Trav, this is my dad, Eric Firefist."  I waved, and said, "Hello..."  The man, Eric, said to me, "Hello, Travis!  It's nice to meet ya!  Oh, I have something you gotta try!"  Katelyn facepalmed, "Dad, everyone loves your Strawberry Puffs!  They're delicious, but we need a break!"  Eric said, "Nonsense!  Go ahead, Travis!  Try one of my infamous Strawberry Puffs!"  He handed my one, and I took a bite of it.  I swallowed that bite, and said, "Holy...  Mother...  Of...  Irene...  These are...  DELICIOUS!!!!!"  Eric smiled, and said, "I like you, Travis!  Also do you mind if I talk to you in private?"  I was skeptical, but I nodded anyways.  Me and Eric walked a bit up the stairs, which was a little bit away from the table.  Eric asked me, "So, do you possibly, like Katelyn?"  I blushed immediately after he said Katelyn's name.  I stuttered, and said, "W-Well I-I mean s-she is beautiful, and she's tough, and s-she's really sweet when she wants to be, a-and--"  He cut me off, by saying, "So, you do like her, as more than a friend..."  I hung my head in shame, and said, "Yes...  I like Katelyn more than a friend...  Please don't hate me..."  Eric raised an eyebrow.  "Wait, why do you not want me to hate you?"  I sighed, and said, quickly, "Because I used to be a pervert and I would always touch Katelyn's butt and she would punch me, but I've changed and I really like her, and knowing what Katelyn can do, I really don't think I wanna find out what you can do..." I kept my head hung low, and Eric sighed. "I understand. You want to have a new start with a girl you like, just she hated you before, and you don't know if you can restart. I know. If you want you ask Katelyn to be your girlfriend, or to at least go on a date with you, then go ahead. Plus, a few minutes ago, I saw how Katelyn was looking at you. She really likes you. I know the types of looks my daughter gives." He smiled, and I lifted my head up. Sadly, he was almost a foot taller than me. He said, "Now, c'mon. The ladies will start worrying about us." I nodded, and we walked back to Sylvanna and Katelyn.  We talked for a bit, ordered some drinks, talked some more, and, yeah.  Katelyn's dad was a lot nicer than I thought he would be.  Eric then said, "Oh, hey, I just remembered!  I invited some people.  Five actually..."  Eric winked at Katelyn.  Her face lit up.  "D-Do you mean...?"  Eric nodded.  Katelyn jumped up, and five men with blue hair ran up and hugged Katelyn.  She laughed, and the one that looked the oldest picked her up bridal style, and she said, "Haha, guys!  It's so good to see you all!"  They all greeted her too, and put her down, when she first asked, and when he denied, she threatened him.  She said, "Oh, hey guys!  I wanna introduce you to a f-friend of mine!  Guys, this is Travis Valkrum."  One of them opened their mouth to speak, but she cut him off.  "Yes, he has talked to Dad."  The he shut his mouth, since his question was answered.  "Trav, these are my five little brothers, in order from oldest to youngest, "Kyto, Kaleb, Kyle, Keith, and Kasey!" (I made up Kyto, Kaleb, Kyle, and Keith. Kasey is confirmed to be one of Katelyn's five brothers, though I'm not sure if he's the youngest, but I'm going with it! Also Kyto is a werewolf, and his right eye is blind, so it's white.  He has hair that looks like Garroth's, but light blue like Katelyn's! 😜) They may have been Katelyn's younger brothers, but they still looked tough. Seven members of Katelyn's family, including her, in one place, at the same time? That was a recipe for disaster, for me! I gulped and waved, as three of them glared at me. The other two, Kyto and Kasey, didn't. Kasey walked over, and said, "Travis! Long time no see, eh?" I chuckled. "Yeah. It's good to see you!"  Me and Kasey caught up, and I met the guy named Kyto, and found out that he was a lot more chill than Kaleb, Kyle, and Keith, the other three brothers.  Huh, that didn't go as bad as I thought it would...
