My eyes slightly open and it's so bright all I could see was white. My eyes get used to the level of brightness and I see trees above me. I remember what happened and I sat up straight away and looked around. I was in this hammock thing just above this wooden floor. I looked over the other side of the hammock and it was straight down, with no wooden planks. I put my legs over the side with the planks and touched the planks with the tip of my feet. Nothing. Again there was nothing. Nothing happened. I lifted off the hammock and I put my full weight on the planks of the tree house. I looked around the tree house with no walls and it looked like no one was home. I walked past the little hallway, connecting the room to the main room, still with no walls but it did have a fence at least. I look around as I walk through. Still nothing. That word again, nothing. "Don't worry about it. Forget it, Caroline" I say to myself nervously. I stop at the end of the longish hallway. I act like there is a wall but there's no wall. I lean against the wall that's not there, but I make sure I don't fall by using my leg muscles. There is still no one there so I keep moving. The place has no roof except for one room. I keep moving to the room and on the way there is still no one in my view. I go along a thin hallway to the room that has some sticks connecting the roof and the little fence so it's like a wall, kinda. I lean against it and looked in the room. There is a table with papers on it and a little window above it and there is another table in the middle of the room with more papers and a plate of biscuits with a jug of lemon juice of lemonade or something. On the side opposite of the room with the table with the window above it there was a desk with a computer and a cup of the lemonade but there was something else. There was a yellow folder that said IMPORTANT on it. I walked over to check it out when I heard a door open and close. It was on of those doors on the floor that could be used for tree houses. I looked behind me and no one was there so I kept doing what I was doing. It must of just been my imagination, it should be fine I thought. I opened the yellow folder and looked through it. There were lots of papers. I was looking through it all and I came across a yellow sheet of paper. I pulled it out but I didn't get time to look at it because I heard a moan and a fridge door open. I closed the folder and put it away but I kept the yellow sheet with me. I went to the doorway and hid behind one of the stick walls. I peered around the corner, along the hallway and to the next room but I couldn't see the fridge because it was behind a stick wall. I heard the fridge door close and heard the noise of a soda bottle open. I remembered the amazing taste of Coca Cola but slapped myself softly to make me snap out of it. It all went silent. The slap must of been that loud that the person heard it. I looked around the room for somewhere to hide by there was no where to hide. I saw the table with the chair and thought maybe I could hide under the desk and use the chair to cover me up? Hmm, it's the only place to hide so I'll just do it! I looked behind me because I heard footsteps coming my way. I ran to the desk and pulled the chair over to me.
I held my breath as someone entered the room. I watched their feet go to the far table and stop. I could see more of the person but I still couldn't see their head. I let a tiny bit of air out and they turned around. I froze, still as a fiddle I thought, it won't notice me so calm down, Caroline. The person started walking over to the middle desk and stopped luckily. I let out a sigh of relief. NO! What have I done! I thought as the person grabbed a hammer and started walking over to the desk.
