Harry Potter/ Grojband ONESHOT

Well then

Laney's POV

When I first found out I was a Wizard, I was confused to say the least, neither of my parents are magical orientated, nor can she really do any magic herself, she was a simple, one of the crowd girl who wanted to live a normal life.

When she had first gotten the letter, she ignored it, thinking it to be a cruel joke. This place sounded like it was completely made up place, a high end and high status school not known by the internet or any other form of information which promised only the most  prestigious teachings, in magic.

Even the name sounded imaginary, Hogwarts, school of magic and wizardry. Surely this was a prank, a elaborate ruse made to make me look like a complete idiot.

When the second letter came, I was slightly annoyed.

The third, I was pissed.

Fourth, I became enraged.

But when the fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth came, all in the same day, I went head hunting, and paranoid.

But when no. 11-395737 came, all at the same time mind you, I started to think there may be some truth to this.

So one night whilst my family was asleep, I crept down stairs in my green and black jam-jams, re-read the letter hoping to find a way to decline said letter, short story ;I couldn't.

So when I came across a quill next to the pile of letters, I immediately signed my name where it said in golden writing, write here. Not one of my most thought through ideas, but hey it worked.

The letter which was signed started to levitate, green flames engulfed the ancient looking paper.

The floating flames fought for dominance as I attempted to douse it with my glass of water I had placed on the bench, no such luck.

I tried to stay calm, but when there is a green, floating fire alight in your living room, it was quite difficult. Nonetheless I managed to keep my mouth tightly shut. The blaze started to widen, expanding into a shape similar to an  old wooden doorframe, but laced with fire.

The door was a bit over my height, then again I am quite short, I stared at this oddity for a solid minute, thinking of what to do.

Well I thought, it is shaped like a door, and what are doors made for? To pass to another area, commonly a place deprecated by an impassable wall.

So I did the first thing that came to mind. I walked through the door.

The first thing I noticed about the room would be the the architecture, the room was dimly lit via candles, approximately 42 candles. The next thing I had noticed was the brick walls, the bricks were made to bend in an Ancient Greek way. Wooden supports were present, seemingly spread out at random.

Out of everything I had noticed, I hadn't spotted the modern looking desk with a woman sitting there, typing away on her computer.

"Ahh, yes Miss penn, a pleasure to meet you," the woman said, startling me to the point that I almost jumped out of my skin," I assume you are here to finalise your entry into Hogwarts, academy of magic."

"I.. Uh..." I stumbled, clearly confused by the current predicament.

"Excellent, you will be sorted into a house at the start of next week, all sorting's are final, here is a book to help you with your orientation into this school, please read it entirely or you may miss out on crucial information," and with that the woman handed me an old looking book, on the front it had golden letters sprawled across it.

A wizards guide for monsters, customs, spells and basic information which is gone into detail about due to your lack if knowledge on the subject.

What a mouthful, I thought.

"And with that, I think it's about time you retire to your chambers, Mathew will how you to your room," a small, white monkey sprawled out from behind the desk, jumped down and ran towards the door, confused as always, I followed.

This story is made for my bff, my Best Female Friend Cassie, of whom is obsessed with Harry potter, and had asked me (relentlessly might I add) to write a story about Grojband in the universe of wizards, I decided to alter her vision as this way, I can be more creative.
