"Well, I guess I should get going. I'll be like 2 minutes away." Ross says getting ready to go to his hotel.
"I'm really sorry again, I just can't tell them right now. You understand right?" Rachel says messing with his shirt. She felt extremely guilty making Ross do this and she knew it was hurting him but she had to figure this out.
"It's okay, I understand." He lied and Rachel followed him out into the hallway and kissed him goodbye. "But I swear, if Mark tries something I'll kill him. I mean he's in the same apartment as you!" Ross got to thinking and decided he wasn't leaving them alone. "nope, sorry Rach I'm staying here." He says pushing past her.
"Ross, no! You can trust me.." Rachel said as Ross took her in his arms.
"I do, I just don't trust him." Ross let go and grabbed his suitcase and left done the hallway before anyone could see him and Rachel went back inside.
(Ross Hotel Room)
"Yeah mom don't come to Rachel's apartment, meet me at the Hilton Hotel. I'll explain later okay? Bye."
Ross's parents were minutes away from her apartment when they received the phone call from Ross to meet them at the hotel. They couldn't just show up there or the Greens would know something was up. So they listened to him and arrived shortly after.
"Ross, why are we here? Did something happen between you and Rachel?" Judy asked shaking her head. "oh dear.."
"No! We're still together but.. her parents don't know about us and they came for Christmas by surprise." Ross explained the whole story and Jack didn't appreciate it.
"so this is how she treats you? What a wife. And her parents? They should be glad to have such an amazing son in law as you." Jack ranted about pacing back and forth.
"Dad, don't talk about Rachel like that, she doesn't have a choice! Blame her parents." Ross hated when they talked about Rachel like that. It's not like it was her fault, she couldn't tell them. But if she loved him enough, she shouldn't care, right?
"so you're just not going to spend your first Christmas with your wife?" Jack argued
"No, I'm going to be there, they think I'm just a friend of hers and help her around the place.."
"so like her slave." Jack finished for him.
"Jack!" Judy exclaimed getting tired of their fighting.
"Just please go along with this! Rachel promised to tell them soon." Ross pleaded and they both agreed. Ross got Jack and Judy another room where they planned to stay for the next few nights.
(Rachel's apartment)
On the phone:
"Ross I miss you, just come up to the door in like 5 minutes and I'll let you in." Rachel whispered sitting alone in her bedroom. It was around 1 in the morning and she missed Ross like crazy and had to see him. She hung up and waited for about 5 minutes. She then snuck quietly out and tiptoed to the door and opened it and went out in the hallway where she was met with a passionate kiss up against the door.
"I missed you." Ross said holding her tight and stroking her hair while Rachel kissed his chest.
"come on." she whispered and took ahold of his hand and led him behind her through her apartment finally reaching her bedroom.
"finally." she let out and shut the door kissing him.
They both lied down in the bed and Rachel immediatly rolled over to him cuddling him. "Yep. This feels so much better." she smiled and closed her eyes. "I couldn't sleep without you." she finished.
"I had to resort to holding my pillow." Ross quietly let out causing them both to laugh. He began to stroke her back and thoughts about earlier went through his mind. "Hey, Rach?"
"Yeah, baby?"
"You are going to tell them right?" he asked swallowing nervously
"Yeah, I promise just get some sleep." Rachel yawned before tugging at his shirt. "but take this off first." she chuckled and Ross removed his shirt so Rachel could get even more comfortable and they fell asleep.
At around 7 Rachel woke up and immediatly woke Ross up.
"Ross, Ross you need to go!" she said shaking him.
"Rach, I really don't want too." he whined and Rachel punched him in the arm.
"Go!" Rachel yelled and Ross looked at her stunned and shook his head before getting dressed and walking out into the living room where he saw Sandra and Leonard walk in from the kitchen at the same time.
"Ross, what are you doing here?" Leonard questioned eyeing him up and down.
"I uh just came to stop by." he nervously chuckled and Rachel walked out of her room.
"well, you're company isn't wanted at this time so I think you should go." she said matter of factly and he looked to Rachel.
"well I'm here to see Rachel and this is her place so I think she should decide." he said looking at Rachel. For sure she would stand up for him.
"You need to go Ross." she said quietly looking down.
"unbelievable" he whispered and slammed the door shut causing Rachel to jump.
"Hey, Goodmorning Rach." Mark smiled as he walked in and kissed her on the cheek. "so I have something planned for us today."
