You were a childhood friend of Ten, best friends to be in particular. You were the first one to know that he would be a trainee in SM. He had to go to Seoul to train. "(Y/n) I'll be back soon. Just wait for me and When we meet let's go on a date and I'll make you my very first girlfriend so wait for it. keep this with you forever never take it off" he said giving you a necklace and placed a small kiss on your cheek. Those were his last words before he left for Seoul the next morning.
The necklace had a heart shaped pendant which when you opened found a photo of you and ten. Along with an engraving "love till infinity and beyond".

It had been 11 long years. You missed him. That smile . You always, even though you were still kids, you had a crush on him. "Ten, I miss you" you said clutching on your necklace he gave. It had a heart shaped locket. Inside was a picture of you and Ten, he had a similar necklace. It was more like a couple necklace. He had debuted this year. You were very excited when his first trailer came, he had grown up so much from the little kid to a handsome young man. Your heart began to race when he danced. You fell in love with him. You had become a fan of NCT. You were busy thinking when your father suddenly called you,"(y/n) please come down here for a moment? " "I'm coming " you replied. "Is something wrong dad?" You asked confused as both your mom and dad were sitting there with a serious face. "(Y/n) we are moving to Seoul tomorrow " your father said. You couldn't believe it. "Your father got a job as a manager in Sm entertainment" she said. You were really happy about it. Now you could see Ten. "Okay" you said smiling. "We'll be leaving tomorrow " he said. You nodded and went up your room to get your packing done .

You were already on your way to Seoul. You could finally meet Ten, your childhood crush after 11 years. He had changed a lot but you still loved him. But would he recognise you? You thought while clutching the necklace in your hand. He will. You reassured yourself. After a long flight you finally reached Korea. It was a great feeling for you. And you were excited to meet Ten.

You settled down in your new home. It was very cozy and comfortable. It was night by the time you finished arranging your home and changed clothes after taking a bath. You popped in your bed and browsed your phone. "NCT Girlfriend " that was an article that caught your eye. You read through all the profiles when it came to Ten, your heart began to beat fast.
"New boyband NCT member , Ten is dating Lisa a trainee from YG. Both of them spotter going out on dates at 10:30 pm in Seoul " .
You finished reading. "Tenten .....he's dating? But he said he'll make me his first girlfriend..... "You said to yourself. It broke your heart. You felt so bad, and the evidence showed that it was true. A small tear rolled down your cheeks. " Ten... Why? Didn't you say to wait for you? " You said to yourself before falling asleep.

ten's Pov:
Today I got called into the manager's office. There was another scandal about me and Lisa. We weren't dating but the photographer took photos in such positions that we appeared to be together. "Ten, what is this article about? You and Lisa? " he half shouted angry. "It not true. It's false" I said. "We were just practicing and went out for lunch as we were hungry but the photographer took photos in the wrong angle to make it look passionate and it came out like we were dating. I swear we're just friends. " I continued, thinking that the manager would be angry. "Ten I understand, be careful next time and your free to date but not now . You have to wait" he said and I nodded. I asked for his permission and left the office.

After coming out of the office,I was frustrated. Me and Lisa? Never.
I went back to the practice room and noticed that the guys had finished practicing."hey, sorry I was late. Was at the manager's office" I told them. "About Lisa and your scandal? " Taeyong asked me and I nodded. I sat down next to Jhonny. Jhonny was practicing with us today. "It's frustrating. This reporter always writes bullshit about me and Lisa. It's just that we are good friends and nothing else" I told him and it seems all of them noticed and nodded. "But hyung, isn't there a chance it's true? Or you have another girl you have in your mind" Mark said. I couldn't answer. That moment (y/n) 's face flashed through my mind. I couldn't help but blush. "So... There is someone in your mind who is she? " Taeyong asked. "Well.... She's a childhood friend of mine. She's back at home in Bangkok. I had to come here, so we got separated and we lost contact. I haven't seen her since then. But she's probably grown a lot now" I trailed off. "That means your still waiting for her aren't you? " Doyong asked and I nodded. "That's nice. It's so unlike our Ten hyung, but when can we meet her? " Taeyong asked. " I don't know, it's just we lost contact completely after I joined SM. It's been 11 years but I know I'll probably recognise her. I gave her a necklace before I came here. So she may be wearing that" I said as I smile. "Our hyung is in love" Mark said. I didn't respond. We have a fan meeting tomorrow, every fan meeting I wish I could see but she doesn't come. I thought to myself. "I'll be heading to the dorm first. I'm kinda tired" I told and went to the dorm. As soon as I reached the dorm I took a cold shower. After showering I grabbed an apple from the fridge and took out my phone and sat on the couch. I opened our official Insta page. There were many notifications and all. I typed for a particular name, her name. I was didn't expect her name to show up. (Y/n)..... Her name showed up. It was her. Her profile picture was the necklace I gave her. I quickly checked her profile and there were lots of photos, mostly of mine . I couldn't help but a smile escaped my face . I was grinning like an idiot. And there was a particular photo that caught my eye, it was a photo of the necklace and the caption was so touching. "11 years have passed so quickly . Memories are the only things you left along with this necklace but I'll still wait for you. Do remember your promise . Don't break it. ❤" I finished reading. I could never forget what I told her.
I promised her that as I really liked her a lot.
