Samuel started plowing the fields as everyone within the community started waking up. Stacy was the last to get up after all the ruckus Samuel had made. "Don't you think you should have waited until everyone was awake?", Stacy proclaimed as she exited the ruins she calls home. The more he thought about it, he decided that everything looked like complete garbage. It's as if they were living in a rat's nest. Their homes were just ruins, held up by a few pieces of wood. Inside these homes were dank, with a smell of rotting flesh. Every day you can hear the creaking of wood, struggling to keep the building up. Although they were living in terrible conditions, it was better than living outside of the community. "Hey! Are you even listening to me?!", Stacy asked, waving her hand in front of his face."Mmm? Oh yeah. What did you need again?" Samuel replied with a puzzled look on his face."God dammit Sam, you never listen to me!" Stacy picked up the nearest object which was, unfortunately, a rock. She threw it at him without knowing what she thew. As the rock was flying towards Samuel, he grabbed it and just stared at it."Why would you just throw a rock at me?" He put the rock on the palm of his hand and flicked the rock toward Stacy, which was a big mistake. The rock flew toward Stacy with the speed of a bullet being shot out of a gun. The rock grazed her arm and went through the door to her home."What the hell Sam?!" Stacy boomed at Samuel. "Oh crap! Stacy, you're bleeding!" he exclaimed." I'll get something to stop the bleeding. Just follow me. I'll patch you up." Stacy walked towards him, holding her arm trying to stop the bleeding. Once Samuel got inside, he started searching for some sort of bandage or cloth that he could use to wrap around Stacy's wound. Her whole arm was covered with the scarlet liquid, leading down to her hand. Although it was just a small gash, blood was gushing out of the wound as if it was an underground spring filled to the brim with water. "Finally! Just found some gauze!" Samuel exclaimed. He sprinted towards Stacy, carrying the gauze and some rubbing alcohol, ready to help her. "Come on. Stretch out your arm. A-and uh..." Samuel stuttered as he grabbed a wooden spoon and gave it to Stacy. " You may need to bite down, just in case." She placed the wooden spoon in her mouth without questioning Samuel and bit down. He started to pour the alcohol all over the wound, giving Stacy a burning sensation in the inside of her arm. Her eyes started to tear up as the feeling started to spread throughout her body. As soon as Samuel stopped pouring the caustic liquid, all the pain Stacy felt left her body. "Are you okay Stacy?" Samuel asked cautiously as to not startle or anger her. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just wrap my arm up with the gauze, okay?" Samuel nodded and started to wrap up her arm carefully to not harm her.
