Chapter One: OMG

"Dear Mrs. Johnson,

Your application for admission to Seoul National University has been accepted...

Omg, they accepted me. I can't believe.. I'm moving to Korea, I'm actually moving to Korea... Melanie was jumping around the room feeling so good. 

"Mum!!!!"

"Melanie honey what's wrong? , her Mum peeped from the kitchen.

"Mum they accepted me, I got the acceptance letter today.. I'm so happy. I'm going!! I'm  actually going"..

Melanie started crying. She was so happy she couldn't hold her tears. Her Mum hugged her and  told her: "Come on honey don't cry you wanted this so bad. I know how hard you worked. She wiped her tears and slipped her hands through her long hair.

"Mum I am crying because I'm happy, Melanie said hugging her mother again. "I should hurry up and get ready as soon as  possible to get there early and.. and....

Her Mum smiled and held her hands: "What you need to do young lady is calm down first of all, she smiled and pinched her nose. You have enough time to get ready and  to spend a couple of days with us and your friends. 

"You're right I'm just so nervous.. and excited and happy.. it's really overwhelming.. but I should relax with my friends. I'm gonna go and call my friends to meet with them and to celebrate this amazing thing".

"You should do that honey. And I'll call the airport to see about flight and everything else. You just go and relax with your friends. You'll not be seeing them for a long time when you go to Korea".

Melanie jumped up to her room and immediately picked up her phone to call her best friend Sam.

"Sam you're not going to believe me...

"What? What happend?, asked Sam.

"I got accepted I'm going to Korea".-Melanie said almost yelling.

"OMG, I'm so happy for you. We need to celebrate. This is amazing.

"I know!!You call the others and let's meet tonight and have some fun".

"Melanie!!, her Mum called her. "Come down please".

"I have to go, my Mum is calling me. See you tonight! Love ya! She hunged up and got down.

"What is it Mum"?

"You have flight the day after tomorrow at 9 am. So you'll be there at 3:30 in the morning. I tried to find you some other flight but every flight was full.

"It's ok. I'll just take a cab to first hotel and I'll look first thing  in the morning  for an apartment.

"Ok, honey. Today you enjoy with your friends and tomorrow I'll call our close family and we'll all go somewhere to eat dinner and have a quality time together".

"Ok Mum, it's a deal, she said hugging her.

As she was moving to her room she murmured to herself. "This is actually happening. I'm actually going to Korea. I can go to concerts and really see them. .. My God I'm going to see them"... . ... ..
