Alexas POV
So we are now walking to mcdonald's and our hands keep brushing against each other and i can feel the sparks shoot up my arm. i can feel his gazes on my head and i just want to hold his hand and make him mine.
We reached mcdonald's and the scent of the fried goodness hit my nostrils.
Mmmmmm i just want to get 8 big macs and eat them all right now i'm
that hungry. We ordered our food and chatted like normal friends. This is why i know that us being together will never work.
I'm always shy to do things in front of him, for example eating (which is what's happening now) and if something was on my face i would be even more embarrassed. All my friends say it's just a boy who cares, but this boy is totally different and even though i've known him since we were children it will still be different.
Once we finished eating we decided to go to the park, it was quite late but not too dark and we only lived a few streets away so it wouldn't do any harm. We sat on the swings and it was a comfortable silence, not awkward at all. Suddenly he says,
" i've been wanting to tell you something for a while now...-"
Sounds of police cars boomed out of now where and the flashing lights lit up the park. We both turned our heads but the cars were gone.
" what was you going to say?" i said
"o-oh right nothing it doesn't matter" he said stuttering.
Soon we made our way back to our houses and we lived quite close so atleast i wasn't walking by myself in the dark. It was quite chilly and it wasn't a good idea to just wear a t-shirt. Luke could see the goosebumps on my arms and soon warmth crossed over my body, he had placed his hoodie over my body and i smiled at him in return.
We reached my house and said goodbyes. It looks like i'll be keeping his hoodie till tomorrow.
