"UGH!,this is so hard!" Alisa whispered to herself on her math test. Alisa Anderson was a 12 year old 7th grader .she HATED math but as her parents always tell her, math is REALLY important.she was only good at the basics.counting her 1,2,3,'s was awesome, but when it came down to multiplying and dividing, she lost it.What made it even worse is that she had to leave school when she was 9 after only three months of school so that she could have MANDATORY surgery.she had to stay in the hospital for a week .During that week, she refused to take ANY medication, unless it was mandatory.EVERY nurse that was assigned to her said that she was one" tough cookie".They also saw how she carried herself, and they thought she was 13.I will remind you again that she was ONLY 9.she came out of the hospital on Christmas eve. When she went home, everything was totally different her dog actually tried to bite her because it didn't recognize her.
