<Isabelle's POV>

The carriage rolled steadily along while I mouthed the words that rolled off the pages. I chuckled and thought of what Lizzie would say if she were here. She'd probably get mad at me for not using my gift to memorize cuter stories. See
since I was young I was always able to memorize the things I'd seen or read in an instant.

I would be the first to admit I am nothing like my younger sister who had to have the cutest things, and the nicest of gowns. I settled for the more practical and sensible clothing. I remember all the times she would often beg me to put on some ridiculous gown all because she thought it was adorable. I always denied her of course and eventually she got the hint and gave up.

The carriage jolted to a stop pulling me from my recollection of the past. The door was opened by the driver, an older man, with a scraggly beard and a hunch to his back. He offered me his hand to aid me in stepping out.
"Here you are miss. I hope the journey wasn't to rough for the likes of ya." I could only shake my head and offer him a few pieces of silver for his time and trouble.
"Most kind miss, please call if ya need another ride. Anytime. Never had the pleasure of such a quiet passenger in my coach 'fore today." I took his card and watched him get back in the drivers seat, urging the horses on with a click of his teeth. I waited for the coach to disappear into the distance before grabbing my carpet bag off the ground. Unprepared for the weight of it, I lurched forward and cried out as I began falling. By some miracle before I could even reach the ground I was grabbed and held against a lithe muscular frame. Glancing up, a pair of fiery crimson eyes stared down at me. Those eyes.. they burned with the heat of hell itself and I was captivated.

"Heavens miss, are you alright?"

All I could do was nod as he stared at me. He suddenly cleared his throat and backed away from me.
"Welcome to the Phantomhive Manor. I'm-" I finished his sentence for him, "Sebastian Michaelis. Yes, I know who you are." I smiled and looked at the young lord of the manor who seemed rather stunned as he stared at me.

He was cute for a boy his age. His eyes(Or rather his eye) showed a maturity of a much older man and shimmered the most violent shade of blue.

There was something else, something about him and his butler that caused goosebumps to break out along the back of my neck.

"It's a pleasure Lord Phantomhive. I do hope my being here isn't to much trouble." I curtsied and felt rather uncomfortable as he continued to stare at me. Instinctively I smoothed out the fabric of my gown. It was a pale blue color, and it clung snuggly to my voluptuous frame. The neckline plunged down, revealing just the smallest amount of cleavage.

"It's no trouble at all, though I have to ask, are you really related to Elizabeth?"

I smiled a bit and tucked a stray strand of hair behind my left ear, saying nothing to the young lord.
"I'm exhausted after my trip. Would your butler be so kind young Phantomhive, to show me to my quarters?"

"My lord, I don't want to appear rude but I must make preparations for lunch. Perhaps you should show the young lady to her room." Ciel sighed and nodded. "Very well then. If you'll come with me, my lady." I went to reach for my bag, surprised to find that it was gone. I looked at Ciel with a brow raised. He merely shrugged and asked me to follow him. I walked after him, my head filled with thoughts of the rather impressive Sebastian Michaelis.

I had heard the rumors about how after the fire Ciel had disappeared and when he returned, he returned with his butler. No one knew where he came from or who he was but I vowed that I would find out during my stay here.
