today for an hour i watched some ants just building up their hill,
then 15 minutes of an artist who was painting windowsills.
then i saw ten thousand sleeping moths that stirred, but never woke,
followed by 100 ways to make some dip with artichokes.
for the next half hour it was quite a chore to keep myself awake,
as billy the baker demonstrated just how to ice a cake.
the day finally ended with a 6 hour stretch on how to dig a castle's moat-
all of this because i couldn't find
the darn tv remote.
