I sat and waited, and waited; I wasn’t able to tell what time it was or how many days have passed. I wasn’t sure what we where waiting for but I wasn’t sure it was all the good. I’m in the dark so long I’m not sure anymore whither I’m sleeping or just staring into the darkness. I do know I’m not the only person though, all around me are others, at first everyone tried to find their own spot away from the others but over time slowly everyone pushed closer and closer to the middle as the cold swept in the people came closer huddling together like a pack of animals.

I stayed to the side in a corner pressing my back against the wall pretending as if I could see them just imagining they all shivering as they held on to each other with wide eyes looking around as if the walls would suddenly open up and they could all go home. I imagine what they look like people from all over the world some with skin shining like the a new moon, and others with skin like the darkness around us. But yet that didn’t stop them from dragging us away and pushing us all together in who knows where.

I knew one thing, I knew we were moving, you could feel it. It was only slightly but you could tell we were moving and fast. Sometimes we would stop and for a few moments I would think in the distance you could hear screams occasionally a loud popping noise; my mind might just be making that up though because no one else seemed to hear it. I closed my eyes and let more darkness come to me.

I sat up with a frown and rubbed the back of my head as I opened my eyes, or at least I believe I opened my eyes even in my dreams I no longer had dreams about far away castles or flying through the air. I still dream I know that but it’s no longer of places bathed in colours but now blackness as black as my surroundings simply nothing. Though I heard words just a jumble of things but they were something.

I leaned against the wall and stretched my arm from my body letting my hand feel the cool metal besides me as I closed my eyes. I frowned a bit and tilted my head the metal was cold and a strange rhythm was softly herd as I placed my ear on the metal; it was raining.

Thought there was something else we were slowing down. I hated when we slowed I imagine the sounds I believed I heard I saw people dying being shot or pulled away to be sold off to who know what. Sighing I just stretched my legs in front of me and put my hands on the back of my head as I leaned back on the wall again and waited for the train to stop and then continue on after a few hours I assume.

I felt us stop and sighed waiting for it those imaginary sounds, and waited but I heard nothing, not a sound as was felt like forever finally I felt the wall behind me shake no sounds but we were about to move again.

When I expected us to slowly start to move forward was when I suddenly fell backwards where the wall once was the same wall that’s held me there for weeks, no months or was it even years? How long was it really? No matter where was no wall there anymore but instead I had concrete on my back and soft rain drops on my face as I looked up to the sky the sky of light grey clouds over a dark sky. I let my mouth open as soft drops dripped into my mouth, how long as it been since I had a drop of water? I closed my eyes really closing my eyes because it was black and it hadn't been a moment before that.

The water stopped falling on my face and I opened my eyes to see confused eyes looking down at me as I was pulled up.

“Well you're a strange one aren’t you, not all crowded into the middle like the rest of them come on than.” The person said as they helped me up and pushed me softly to a building so immersed in light I had to close my eyes and hold a hand over them.

Where was I? And question was when was the screaming and popping noises will start up. Was I simply put on a train to be traveled to my death?
