The Story of My Life

The story of my life is simple my dad died on a car accident before I could say goodbye. We were very close we had never really gotten into arguments except for when we were joking around and stuff like that. Now its just me and my mom. My best friend since fourth grade is Mia Trevino. We are now in high school, 10th grade and sixteen. We have two german shepards one white one named Alexander (Xan) and a black one named Delano (french for dark one).

When i was eight years old my parents fostered german shepards and one of the ones we had fostered was named Scarlett and she had puppies so she was protective and my mom thought Xan was outside with delano. Scarlett and Xan couldn't be together and Xan was actually with me in my room. When i went out to get a water bottle or whatever it was scarlett attacked Xan and i tried to tear them apart but they were to strong and i couldn't. Xan was fighting to keep us safe and my mom managed to tear them apart but when she did her hand was bitten and now my mom has a scar on her hand. Xan almost died that night and I blamed it on myself for not keeping him safe. Xan had to get tubes in his neck and stomach because we had to put ointment on his bites.

There was blood all over the walls of the house and my sister was trying to calm me down because all i could think of was what if Xan had lost the fight and died. Scarlett was not as injured because Xan wasn't trying to hurt her, just trying to get her off of my mom. We ended up being fine Xan is healthy and happy and Delano is making sure of that. I love them so much i honestly don't know what I would do without them in my life.
