The Library

Part 1

She woke up in the middle of night and went to the kitchen to get a glass of water.

BOOM! The noise was so loud she drop the glass of water.

"What was that?" she whispered to herself.

It came from the library in her house. She slowly walk towards the door and saw that the door was slightly open. She try to peek in but it was too diffucult to see. She slowly open the door. She got a closer look but there was no one there. She was shaking. She saw two books on the floor, picked them up and put them back on the shelf. It was strange because her mom was at work and her sister stayed at a cosuin's house. She closed the door making sure it was all the way close. She went back upstairs to her room and try to go to sleep. It was hard though after what she had heard.

Next morning her mom was making breakfast. She went downstairs and saw her dad reading the newspaper.

"Mom, is Julia coming back home tonight?" she asked.

"Yes. Why?" mom looked her surprised by the question.

"Oh. I was just asking." said with a nervously voice.

Her mom gave her the breakfast. She started eating and then that is when she turned around to see the librarry door was still shut. She was still wondering what had happen. She was hoping that her sister gets home earlier to tell her what had happen. She was scared to tell her because her sister might say that it was all in her head.

In the evening Julia got home, both parents have gone to work, and mom had left a note on the kitchen counter.

"Kim!" she yelled.

Kim came downstairs to the kitchen and saw her sister looking in the refrigerater.

"What?"

"Oh. Hey, you know where I left my report paper?"

"I think you left it in the library on the desk." Kim trying not turn around, "By the way speaking about the library. Something strange happen last night."

"What?" Julia asked closing the refridgrater.

"I came downstairs to get a glass of water and then I heard a loud noise coming from the library." she turned around to see the library. "and when I went to check it out two books were on the floor."

"What?" Julia laughing, "are you serious?"

"Yes. I'm serious. It was weird though because niether was mom or dad was here which was the real weird part."

"Well, the times I've been alone I haven't heard of anything." she said while opening a can of soda. "Maybe your mind is playing games like it always does."

"No! This time I'm serious Julia." she got furious. "This time is different. I mean you know mom and dad won't leave the books all over on the ground. You know they're very neat and if they see something out of place they freak out."

"True." Julia smiled. "Anyways I'm going to my room. I have a lot of things to do."

Julia walked to her room while Kim stared at the library door. That is when Kim decided to go to the library and try to figure if the books might haven't been put right and they fell.

It was around 10:30 p.m and mom had got home. She got off work early that day. Kim couldn't go to sleep she was still wondering what had actually happen. She heard her mom go to her room and shut the door which ment she was going to sleep already. Kim was still awake for about 2 more hours. Then around 2 a.m she fell asleep. Just after 25 minutes she has a dream. It's a strange dream. It was her in the library reading a book and BOOM! She heard it again and she jumped. Her heart was racing so fast. She got up and the same two books had fallen from the shelve. She slowly bent over to picked them up and put them back on the shelf. While putting them back she felt as someone had touched her shoulder, she shiver and right away she turned around. No one was there.

She woke up around 5:45 a.m and her heart was racing.
