My heart skips a beat rhythmically. My hands were oddly cold and my legs lightly trembled.

This is it. This is really happening.

I am currently standing near the altar, holding hands with the man I love with all my heart and am going to be married to.

I could literally feel my heart about to burst out of my chest.

All my life I have been wanting, dreaming to become married to someone who would be with me and love me forever no matter what happens. My parents were really great examples of an eternal love.

My mom was born in a rather poor family whilst my dad came from a rich Russian bloodline. They both experienced lots of bad stuff in the past that threatened to separate them but they prevailed. They never gave up and still kept on loving each other.

After they got married, they had me!

I was a little chubby in my infant years but that soon changed once I grew older. They also had my younger twin sisters after my 2nd birthday which made me really happy because I had become a big sister.

And now here I am, now 21, standing at the altar with my forever.

My eyes travelled up to my soon-to-be husband's face. He also looked like he could barely contain his own excitement with that goofy-looking grin.

I managed to let out a small and quiet giggle as I felt his thumbs shakily caress the back of my hands.

The first time I met Jordan was when me and my family went to visit Florida. I was out to buy for some coffee down at the Starbucks but I was 2 dollars short. Had trouble and everyone was staring at me.

The cashier was super rude, I wanted to slap the kerfuffles out of her. Good thing Jordan was there and was very angelic of him to pay for the two dollars. Or else I would've gone bat-crap crazy on the girl.

He saved me. That was a really good thing to do and I appreciated it alot. We actually hit it off pretty well and exchanged phone numbers. We chatted a lot and I found out that he was in college taking up engineering.

Jordan was the perfect man. Friendly, socialite, kind, smart, has good looks and a cute smile.
I grew feelings for him over time and soon enough he finally reciprocated and asked me out on a date. Which then led to this. Right here and right now.

I'm so glad.

The priest starts to say some stuff before looking at the both of us.

"Do you, Jordan Ricc, take Gemma Estelle Volkov as your lawfully wedded wife, promising to love and cherish, through joy and sorrow, sickness and in health, and whatever challenges you may face, for as long as you both shall live?"

"I do." Jordan firmly said as he looked at the priest then back to me with a smile.

The priest smiles and nods, contented with the confidence in his reply. He now turns to me and gave me a reassuring smile.

"Do you, Gemma Estelle Volkov, take Jordan Ricc to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish; from this day forward until death do you part?"

I gave a small and nervous sigh before getting the courage to finally say the words I have always wanted to say.

This is it.

"I-"

"Hold!"

A sudden loud voice roared into the open cathedral. The sound of footsteps rushing in and everyone's heads turned to look at the intruders.
