Dre's POV
-----------------

"Man how fuckin long we gonna be on this damn bus?" Ice started complaining. This nigga always gets irritated in the last couple of days. I don't blame him though, Snoop doesn't even know the meaning of "Stay away from beans and spiced shit." His breath smells as bad as his ass.

"Ice you just gotta ride it out dawg, we'll be there soon." I said leaning back into the sofa. This tour was absolutely crazy. Screaming fans, drinks and naked bitches. Man every rappers dream. Our new cat Eminem joined us for a couple of dates on the tour and to no surprise and our fans gave him a warm welcome. Right now though, I just wanna relax with my family, earlier in the year my niece had just moved to Compton and I wanna see how's she's holding up.

"So Dre, you gonna hit up that trick you been talking to? Shaniqua or something?" I picked up a blunt and held t to my face and looked at Snoop seriously.

"Dawg I never spoke to her in like a month. Pretty sure she got a side, you know how things go."

"I was planning on checking with the fam, you know, sis, Ariana -"

"Isn't Ariana in Barbados?"

"Nah man her aunt met this new guy, some church nigga. Gets paid a lot, so she decided to just pick up and come here a few months ago. I guess it's the best ya know, cause they wasn't living so great."

"Man I don't care what happened as long as I get something to eat!"

"Man go eat but not around us, fuckin you microwaved curry the other day, I wanted to cap you!"

"Fine then imma just lay in a fetus position until I get something to eat." He wasn't joking, this dude was legit lying in a fetus position until ice gave him the rest of the food left from the tour.

"Damn, you fuckin' child." I laughed. The places outside of the window started looking familiar to me, I put on my headphones and just zoned out everything and everyone around me. Just can't wait to be back in my city.

Dre's P.O.V

Damn that breeze! I'm happy it's not just some cold ass air conditioner. I'd been walking for a couple blocks after getting off the bus and sayin' bye to the guys. I didn't tell anyone I'd be here this early though it's about noon, I hope my entrance will be welcome.

"So I guess I'll see y'all tomorrow at the studio, I got some dope lines about all these hoes on tour!" I saw snoop text. Shit yeah we gotta hit up the studio tomorrow, we're gonna gonna have to cut it short.

My sisters house the that picket fence look,
One of the prettier ones on this block. I remember us being younger and praying we'd get outa the slums of this city. I did, to bad my family was never that lucky. Half of us didn't even make it.

Pushing  away those dark thoughts I lightly twisted the doorknob making sure to make as little noise as possible. Surprisingly the door wasn't locked. Going inside I saw idols of Jesus and little pictures of angels and quotes of the bible everywhere, damn. I believe in God but this is really insane. I smelled so cookies that made me even extra excited to find where it was coming from. With my luck I made it to the kitchen in time to hear the sweet familiar laugh that I haven't heard in a while.  There were stacks and stacks of good looking packaged cookies I assume is for the local church. It feels a bit creepy just in the background starting at my sis, guess I gotta make my presents known.
