If there was one thing about him, it could be that he was ever stubborn. Jordan call him Thomas for a reason.

He was the doubting one, never believed anything until he sees it with his own eyes. But everything changed.Since she came nothing is the same anymore.

What am I doing he thought rubbing his temple to release some of the tension that have been building up lately. He adverted his eyes away from the couples in front of him looking around for something distractive.

"Hey," The girl sitting beside him nudged him.

"What." He absentmindedly responds

"Is there a party this week?"

He shook his head no, turned his head towards to board hoping she wouldn't ask more questions.

"Why aren't you hanging out with Jordan this days." He cringed

Don't snap, just breathe in and out

"I just don't feel like it anymore. "

He answer in a calm voice in hope to convince her and himself too.

He then took in one sharp breath in hoping to not have shown any emotion and it worked, just a little.

This have become a routine now, everywhere he went they would ask for Jordan. He was already sick and tired of it but he wasn't going to snap,he wasn't going to let them get him, he was patient, he knew how to take it slow.

"Someone told me it was because of the new chick, is it true." She curiously asked twirling the end of her shiny brown hair around the tips of her pointy finger nails.

"No it's not."

"Really? then why?" She pushed.

He tried the keep-calm-and-answer-her technique but he wasn't sure how to answer, what to say or do to shut her up. He was really tired of this, of everyone asking him about their relationship. It was non of their business yet they didn't seem to get a hint.

"Just other things." he swallowed.

"Do you like her? what her name?"
She asked pounting at her.

He closed his eyes, rubbed his temple for a second. This was the moment he always dread. He hates it when they get on his nerves.

"Can't you just shut up? Go bug someone else!"He snapped in a hush tone to not draw any attention.

"Why don't you get a life and stop snooping in other peoples life." She flushed and turned away after he looked her up and down in disgust. It always works. But he was nice and nice people don't snap at others to make them feel intrigued so he did what nice people normally do.

Hey, sorry about that, didn't mean to snap just having a bad day already.

After fiddling with it for some minutes he finally passed the note to the brunette sitting beside him. She smiled down at the note and looked up with one big toothy smile.

See that was his problem, he was too nice for his own goodness, he longs for selfishness even if it's just once in his life.He didn't want to keep being the good bloke everyone loves and expect a lot from. He just wanted to be a normal reckless 'bad boy', one that people avoid and not piss on. And maybe just maybe she might feel something towards him just like she does for him.
