Sorry guys for not updating I really am. Just stuff happened and all so yeah. Hope this is good my friends helped me and all but truly sorry if its really depressing. Oh and also this is for my English honor class. Hope you guys like it. Also it might have a thought of suicide.

You said to me like you knew what you were doing.
You said it with your true voice.
You promise this, and that every time...
Finally I gave you all of my trust,
Like giving your trust to a preacher.
Once you hear me say "Fine I guess" you lit up like Las Vegas streetlights when its past 10pm.
You kept that promise for awhile until that day.
You and I both knew it wasn't supposed to end the way it did.
We both got what we expected to get...
But the results were different
I stayed and....well, you left.
For awhile I lied to my self saying "You haven't broken it, you're coming home"
Like what a desperate wife would say to her husband going to war, but knowing that he already broken his promise that would change her life forever.

I said it everyday
Day to day
Night to night
Until they showed a body with no life.
It was like I couldn't breathe
I was anrgy at my self for saying fine.
For all I could think of was if I didn't agree then you would still be here next to me.
If I only said no like a single parent would to their child when they blamed themselves for a crime they didn't commit.
I had to let go for it wouldn't change a thing.
I couldn't change your mind for you had a plan without me.
But look at me now.
Here still living the life we had
Still remembering you and the promise you broke.
You told me and made me believe with all my heart that you wouldn't lead yourself to death's door.
You left me broken and alone in this cold society that killed you....
