Percy Has A Sister?!

Chapter 9

"Uggggggh move over Percy" I say yawning as Percy takes up the entire couch we're both sleeping on. "You move over, I'm bigger I need more room." Percy complained for a while before I had enough and rolled off the couch and onto the ground. I can see the sun streaming through the windows as I rub my eyes. "I'm making pancakes for Ma and Paul and you don't get any PJ" sighing I got up and walked out and into the kitchen. I heard Percy behind me getting up and running over. When I turn around he's on his hands and knees holding my hand, "Oh please, great Abby, please allow me to consume some of your wonderful blue pancakes." I laughed and nodded walking over and starting the mixture and cooking the pancakes expertly. I set them on the table right when Ma and Paul walked in. Smiling I gave them each a plate with 3 pancakes on them, "Morning y'all!" "This looks wonderful honey! Where'd you learn to coon like this?" Ma sounded a little sad, probably because I wasn't able to learn things like this from her. "Aunt Hestia taught me all I know about cooking... Well not all I know. I still remember your recipe for blue chocolate chip cookies from when you showed me when I was 6." Ma's eyes lit up, as did Percy's, "You remember?! How?" "The gods seem to think I have hyperthymesia. It's a condition where I can remember just about everything that has every happened to me. So yes Percy, before you ask, I remember every detail of that place." I shuddered and my face darkened a bit but I went right back to cooking. I turned around and gave Percy a stack of about 6 pancakes which he immediately started shoving in his face. "Whu?" He asked looking up to see us all staring at him. I laughed and everyone smiled. I feel complete, I have a family.
