Ryuga' POV
Present time: Ginka and his gang along with a few more prestigious looking boys who I assume are princes." What the-? Ryuga what are you doing?", Ginka asks me. I pull away from TK and answer," kissing her,duh!"." You can't just do that! It's unfair!", the king yells, showing up from the other side of the flower garden. I hear a sneeze from in front of me and look down to see that TK was covering her nose with a look of disgust." My darling! What's the matter? I thought you liked these flowers!", the king cried, causing TK to look at him with even more disgust and growled at him." Mother likes these not me! I hate their smell, I'm allergic to it. I've said that before many times! It's why mother detests me and stuck me in that room!", she shouts, causing many to gasp in astonishment." Wait! So you're locked up here? As in like a prison?", Ginka asks, clearly caught off guard. Well I knew something was off but definitely not this. I thought to myself." She did not hate you! She loved you as her own!", the king shouts in retailiation." That's the other thing! Why isn't my younger sister in charge? She's got the royal blood not me! I'm adopted! And if she does love me then why doesn't she ever look at me while in dinner or read to me at night when I had nightmares or during storms! Neither of you did any of that!", she shouts, clearly agitated and angry at her lack of parental attention during her young age. Even I had Doji as a substitute parent, however weird that sounds he did good to a degree." So you really are a member of the dragon clan then.", I state calmly, earning everyone's attention and some surprises faces." I don't remember anything from before I was adopted but I knew something was off when my sister had blonde hair and I brown when both my parents had blonde and red hair and that my bey was completely different from theirs.", she told me, truth be told she must have been in some crisis to not notice how different she was." Well we didn't know where you came from either! That's why we locked up your bey and you.", he explains." So you feared me? Your adopted daughter may strike? Start the tournament and we'll see what three straight days of training can do to a clueless princess!", she exclaims, intent on showing her worth through winning the thing." Fine we will start, first the extras please line up around the arena for the first free for all battle.", the king orders Ginka and the gang, his brown eyes gleaming angrily." Where's the arena?", Kyoya asks, green hair swaying in the slight breeze." Well you'll see it in a minute.", the king answers right before clicking a button of a device he had in his hand. Right after he pressed it, a mechanical hum starts up from the center of the garden where a fountain rests. We head towards it to see the ornate fountain sink down into darkness and another thing pop up from where it was. A gray, steel arena appears from the ground and sets into the fountains place." Now please line up extras and we'll start the battle.", the king says, his own red cape waving in the wind like my own." Cool! Alright let's go!", Ginka shouts excitedly, as if he hadn't battled since battle bladers which is probably true." Now the participants please head to the opposite side of the garden and rest or train if needed.", the king tells us. I just tsk and walk away, not before I give TK another kiss on her lips. The last thing I see before I head to the back gardens is her beautiful red tinted face and her gold tinted black eyes trained on me.
TK's POV
I can't believe this Ryuga! How could he just kiss me out of the blue like that?!?" Three! Two! One! Let it rip!!", shouted all the extras, drawing my attention from the impromptu love scene I had with Ryuga to the battle that had started." The participants are: Ginka Hagane, winner of battle bladers and owner of one of the only Pegasus beys, Tsubasa Ootori, runner up of battle bladers and a proud eagle user, Kyoya Tategami, the fierce lion wielder and runner up in battle bladers, Yuu Tendo, another runner up in battle bladers and a libra user, Kenta Yumiya, proud participant of battle bladers and Sagittario user, and finally Benkei the bull user and proud runner up in battle bladers!", my father announces to the crowd he let in the palace grounds. Their cheers fade to the background to me as the battle burst to life." Tear 'em apart Leone!", the green haired boy shouts, immediately attacking libra, making the blonde spiky haired boy cry out." Aww Kyo-yo! Why'd you attack me first? I thought you'd want Ginky first!", he cries and I scoff at the green haired boy's nickname." Yuu! I told you never to call me that!", Kyo-yo shouts, Benkei shouts alongside him, voicing his own dislike for the name." Don't forget about me! Eagle!", the silver haired teen shouts, gaining everyone's attention and leading me to believe his name was Tsubasa. I hear Kyoya and the others cry out in surprise when eagle knocks them away from each other and near the edge of the arena. Kyoya growls and launches an attack." True king lion tearing blast!", he shouts while posing towards the sky, and sure enough his bey creates a giant tornado that pulls at everyone's clothes and hair." There's my chance, Pegasus! Fly high!", Ginka shouts as his bey drives straight towards the tornado made by Leone and rode the wind it made to fly higher than the rest." Oh no you don't! Leone! Follow suit!", Kyoya orders, his bey following Pegasus in his tornado where they meet at the top and clash for the first time. Leone ends up falling down and Ginka calls out a special move." Pegasus star booster attack!", he calls out and his bey turns into a glowing blue Pegasus with a streak of darker blue following it. Pegasus crashes down into the stadium and throws the others out of it with the shockwave like a meteor hitting the earth." With one move, Ginka Hagane has tossed out the competition and has won over a thousand bey points and and secret recipe passed down in our family!", my father announces, as if he's the MC of the match and the crowd goes wild." Alright! Thanks! Now we need to head back for the start of selection trials in metal bey city! Bye everyone!", Ginka shouts to the crowd as the other wave farewell as well." Wait! I wanna talk to you guys for a bit!", I shout, gaining their attention as I run over to them." That was awesome! My first match! I've never seen anything like it!", I praise, gaining blushes from some and lots of smiles from all of them." Who are you?", Benkei asks me." Oh I'm the princess this tournament is about.", I tell them casually, cue freak outs from some." What! But you're so roughed up!", the smaller greenette comments." That's because I was training since if I lose to someone, I get married to them.", I explain." Wait what? That's so unfair!", the brown haired girl says." I know miss...", I trail off." Oh right! The names Madoka miss princess! And this is Kyoya", she answers while pointing at the older greenette," Kenta", the younger one," Benkei", the purple haired buff looking boy," Yuu", spikey blonde kid," and finally Tsubasa", silver haired teen." Well then please call me TK. I hate the nickname princess.", I tell them." Okay TK!", Yuu shouts as he jumps around excitedly, probably never met a princess before." I think you already know Ginka right?", Madoka asks me." Yup! Saw battle bladers a couple of times.", I tell them." Alright now that this has settled, we need to go.", Kyoya says, sounding satisfied with himself." Alright then, I'll see you guys whenever I can!", I tell them, bidding them farewell as they walk away towards the helicopter transport.
Ryuga' POV(during the battle)
As I walk away from the battle and TK's red tinted face, the princes were conversing and whispering amongst themselves, probably about me kissing her. When we reached the back, they all pounce on me by asking questions regarding her." What's her name?", one asks." How old is she?", another questions me, now starting to annoy me." Why is she all roughed up? Did you do that?", another asks finally snapping my patience." Stop asking me questions! Can't you guys just ask her yourself? Didn't you guys talk to her before?!", I shout some questions of my own." None of us her ever talked to her, we've only ever talked to her mother or father.", one tells me, his sky blue eyes shimmered with sadness." With the days she was missing, some of us never even got to see her until now.", another explains, his long golden locks blowing in the sudden wind." Well then, it seems like I have the advantage since I know her bey skills, her name, and have taken her first kiss.", I told them, many becoming outrage of that last fact." How could you?! It was a pleasure for her groom to take during the wedding ceremony!", the maddest one shouts, his deep brown eyes glistened with anger." That is where you're wrong, I hate to admit it but I kissed her with barely any knowledge about her like you intended to do. But what I do believe is that people should only get together if they know each other just as well as themselves. But I broke it, so I'll fix it by winning and starting off new with her.", I told them, being sincere was never one of my strong points, especially to snotty princes who think they're better than common folk due to birthrights." Well this is the reality of being a princess and I don't think the miss even wants to be one, let alone a queen.", the blue eyed prince says, sounding as sincere as I did." Tell me your names.", I ordered." Well my name is prince Charles from England.", the one with deep brown eyes answered." I am sir Harry from Ireland.", the one with blonde locks said." I am prince Patrick of Germany.", another says, his ocean blue eyes twinkling with delight for some reason." And I am sir Teddy of France.", the one with sky blue eyes tells me, still looking sad at TK's predicament." Well then you probably already know my name but just in case my name is Ryuga, also known as the Dragon emperor.", I tell them, gaining shocked looks from them." Wait a second! You're the second place winner of battle bladers!", Charles exclaims, the others nodding in agreement." My god I didn't realize!", he explains, deep brown shimmered with surprise and outrage." Participants please head back to the arena!", we hear a bell like voice call out." Well time to battle the top blader and possibly lose.", Teddy says dejectedly. We walk over to the arena and spot something truly terrible...

Ryuga: seriously, I sound like Ginka throughout some of that!
AC: well I wanted to add some depth to your character since we don't see much unless you're battling or something!
