Audition

Chp. 2

" Okay, what's the name of the group?" L.A. Reid questioned.

"We are called Emblem Three."

"And individual names,please ?"

"My name is Wesley."
"My name is Drew."
"My name is Keaton."

"Age ?"

"I am 18 years old."
"I'm 19."
"I'm 15."

"Alright, so uh what are you going to be singing for us today?"

"We're gonna sing an original song called sunset blvd which was actually written by this guy right here."

Frankie ;

"Written by this guy right here. " Wesley spoke as he patted Drew's' back. I chuckled and rolled my eyes. "What's so funny?" Aspen asked as she walked up next to me. I shook my head
"Are they serious? An original song? Mhmm​, they have guts." Aspen nodded, "Hopefully they don't choke." Violet added. "They seem all talk and no action. They look like a nervous wreck."

"Group name please?" Britney spoke as she eyed the three girls

"Owens Park."

"That's unusual" Simon chuckled under his breath, Demi rolled her eyes and spoke 

"Individual names, please."

"I'm Frankie  Parker."
"Violet Owens."
"Aspen Parker."

"I'm going out on a limb here and assuming the name 'Owens Park' comes from your last names?" L.A. Reid questioned

"Sort of." Frankie sheepishly smiled

"Anyways, ages please."

"I am, 18 ." Frankie answered
"I am, 19 ." Violet smiled
"And I am, 15 ." Aspen added

"Owens Park, what will you be singing for us?"

"We will be singing a remix of Fall for your, type ." Violet answered

"Start when you're ready."

The beat slowly started

Frankie brought the mic close to her lips and started to sing.

Frankie :
  " Uh, I'd take a shot for you and everything we did
And everything we once was in our relationship
Everything was straight when we first started dating
Thought I'd never see the day when it's both our hearts breaking
So I'm drinking every weekend, speaking sober thoughts
Staring at my phone, wondering if I should call
Tell you how I feel, cause the pain still hasn't healed
Everything feels out of place, I think a part of me was killed
When I let you go, thinking we could take it slow "

Frankie & Aspen :
  " But one weeks past, already found another girl to hold

I should have known, I mean you're in college right
You probably met someone at some fucking party right
I seen it coming, but chose to ignore it "

Violet :
 " In hopes that we could find each others love and then restore it
But you went out exploring, exploring like its a game
And I'm just sitting back like why the fuck do things change

Cause things change and there ain't shit that you can do about it
But take blame for all the bullshit that you provided
I can't deny it, I've made my mistakes
But I was trying to fix em' and now it's too late "

Frankie & Aspen :
    "  Uh, so I guess this is it, my final words "

Frankie "I really do wish the best for you, even if it hurts
I hope you find yourself a better dude, one that you deserve

I hope she does what I could never do and show you what it's worth "

Violet :  

" When it works, imagine love without a struggle
Just happiness and peace where the couple never crumbles
A stumble here and there, but the sound is so subtle

Cause love remains humble when the world seems to rumble "

Frankie, Violet, Aspen :
 " And I promise you, you won't dare forget my name 

When you needed help, I'm the one who always fucking came
I'm the one who picked you up when you slipped up in the rain
I'm the one who took you back when you left me in such pain "

Violet :
" You remember that, all that bullshit you said
You'll love me till the end, but you're loving her instead

I can bet what you're giving her comes from your regrets "

Frankie, Violet, Aspen :
" You can have it, sincerely
A love that was never meant to be "

The girls finished their performance, leaving the audience in awe, looking around to see everyone on their feet and cheering

" You know what? I  didn't expect this from a girl band." L.A. Reid confessed as he added
"I didn't like it. I love it." He grinned as Violet and Aspen high fived and muttered "yes" under their breath

"Thank you so much ." The three girls synced happily

"Britney, what do you think?" Reid questioned

"Well,I find it sort of interesting, you girls are funky and out there. Your voices are very smooth and harmonize very well with each other's, it was amazing, I loved it. " Britney answered 

"Thank you so much!" Frankie answered.

" I think you girls are so spirited and out there. I absolutely loved the performance!" Demi cheered.

"Thank you, Demi!!" Aspen giggled

"I feel as if I've seen this before. Am I right?" Simon questioned looking at the other three judges

"Sort of like a deja vu moment?" Ried asked

"See, I was thinking the same things." Britney said 

"They sort of remind me of the three gentlemen that were just on, here." Simon said

"Except we're you know hotter and we probably sound better too." Violet retorted, the crowd beginning to laugh along with her, including Britney and Demi.

"I don't mean to compare you girls, but the two groups are very, similar." Simon added as the rest of the girls looked at one another worried.

"Anyways, I vote yes."

"It's a triple yes from me."

"And from me."

"I like you girls, so its a yes from me. "
