Sudden Wave (Part 1)

Max's POV

So today is Friday and it's beach day with the Cimorelli family, mine and of course, our friends. I really want to go just to see Lauren's beautiful face but at the same time I don't, 'cause Angela, Britney and some other girls have been on my ass since the other day. It's cute and all of them but please STOP! It's starts to get reeeaallyy annoying.

Right now I'm preparing myself to go. So I put my blue,black&white RipCurl swimming short, a sleeveless white t-shirt, my dog tag necklace (which I always wear, day&night) and some black converses. I put my towel, sandals and sunscreen in my backpack and grip my sunglasses on the collar of my shirt.

I went down to look for my siblings and Jody (I usually don't say aunt, idk why it's like this, but it is).

"Ready guys?"

They nodded, grab their stuffs and went outside. At the same time, the Cimorelli's and our friends were going in the vans. They were separated in 2Vans I think the teens in one and the parents&kids in the other. We loaded our surf boards on top of the car and drove to the beach.

We all arrived at the same time, so as we parked the cars, they all ran to the beach. I was still getting my board out of the car when Lauren came to me.

"Hey! I didn't know that you surf?"

"You don't know everything about me... C'mon let's go."

We walked where everyone was and I planted my board in the sand. I firstly removed my shoes. I noticed that the girls were staring, I think that even Lauren ;).

When I took off my shirt, I could hear the whistles and gasps by the girls.

"OMG!! Max, you didn't say you have 6packed abs!!"

"The hottie meter has exploded!!"

"Hotness to 200%"

"Max! Hold me or I'm gonna faint!"

I was a little...uncomfortable. I looked at Lauren who was trying hard not to laugh. So I quickly took my board and ran to the shore I jumped in the water with James as we were waiting for a good wave.

"Is that a chick festival over there?!"

"Shut up and don't ask questions please!"

"Let's go for this one!!"

We saw a big wave and surfed like never before. It was incredible. I looked at the beach but I didn't see neither Lauren nor Angela or Bryan. They must somewhere doing there things. I walked on the sand and saw Lauren sitting, alone, on some big rocks.

"What you doing here alone?"

"Nothing. Just waiting for Bryan and Angela to come back. They went buying ice creams."

"Oh ok. Hey come here, you wanna try surfing?"

"No it's ok. I don't think I can do this."

"Yes you can. Just.....Believe It!" I smiled referring to their song.

"Smart ass." she smiled back

"Thanks I know, haha." I grabbed her hand and pull her on my board. I swam with her until where I could still touch the ground with my feet.

"I'm scared. I don't if I can do this."

"I know you can, trust me."

I saw a good sized wave for her and pushed her as I swam back to the beach. It's her first time and she didn't even fall.

"I knew you could do it."

"That was awesome! Thanks Max!" she then hugged me so I hugged back.

Lauren's POV

I hugged Max and could feel his abs and when he hugged me back, I felt his muscle around me. I felt so safe in his arms.

"Can we talk to Lauren please?" Britney interrupted us and we immediately pulled back.

"Okay. I'll be over there."

All the girls looked at me as Max walked away.

"What are you trying to do?!"

"What do you mean?" I could say they looked really mad at me.

"You perfectly know! You're trying to get Max away from us!!"

"Excuse me, but why are you yelling at each other here!" Max came back trying to be protective, so adorable

"Just tell Lauren to go away and that you wanna be with me and not her!"

"No! I would rather be with Lauren than hanging out with any of you!! She tried to be my friends unlike you trying to seduce me just for a stupid bet. C'mon let's go Lauren."

We walked to our family together. He was just so cute. The way he protected me makes me feel fearless when I'm with him. It was quite quite long now that Bryan and Angela was gone but I think no one really noticed.

"Hang on, I'll go get your ice cream." I just nodded and continued to help Joey and Nick making a sand castle.

*5-7 mins later*

"Here it is ma'am." He said, with a cute British accent, hanging me a strawberry ice cream.

"Thanks sir. By the way did you see Bryan or Angela?"

He hesitated then answered: " Yeah they were just chatting with some friends." It felt quite weird but whatever.

Max's POV (sorry for switching so much.)

"Hang on, I'll go get your ice cream."

Lauren just nodded and went back to her sand castle while I go get down and money in my backpack and made my way to the ice cream truck.

As I walked there, my jaw dropped and my eyes were widened. I saw something unbelievable near the ice cream truck. There was Angela freaking Malek and Bryan............
