Hi everyone. So this is a fanfic. Characters were chosen on a Luke Hemmings fandom page so yeah. If you didn't get a chance to be a main character  and you want to be in the book please let me know because I'm very happy to add you in somehow. 7 hours ago I was in my "old" home of Melbourne. Crying. I wasn't going to see that place again. It was the perfect little place. My room was filled with posters of my favourite bands and people, a double bed with a tumblr white dovet on it. Rachy and I were happy there, it was home until my mum had to get that stupid promotion in SYDNEY and of course she had to force us to drop everything and move there ASAP.

I look over and see her staring at the scenery flies past. She looks so sad but yet peaceful in a way I can't describe. I give her a gentle squeeze on the arm and she smiles at me as a peace sign, I guess. I look into the review mirror to see my farther lifelessly staring on the road, then i look over to my mother, she on the other hand is staring at her phone. I don't want to be here right now I want to be at home. Screw this.

We arrive at the new house. It's nothing fancy but I'm not on street so I'm good, for now. The neighbourhood doesn't seem fancy either, nice simple looking houses. Nothing special.
"Zoe!" Mum yells at me to go inside but I don't I start walking down the street.

I walk past a few houses and notice a few boys out the front of a double story house messing around, play fighting actually. I don't want to walk by them but they seem to have noticed me already so it's too late now. Ugh. I see a blonde haired boy look at me, look away and then stare at me. He is cute I guess.
"Oi," he yells
"Don't just keep staring, girly. At least say hi."
I blush slightly at the nickname girly, I don't look very girly with my waist high sorts and top. One of the other boys with bright green hair punches him in the stomach,
"Sorry bout him, he doesn't know any manners, I'm Michael."
"N-Nice to meet you, I'm Zoe,"
"You seem new here." Says the boy with the bandana in his hair
"Um yeah, I got here about 8 minutes ago."
"Oh, well I'm Calum, that's Ashton" he says pointing to bandana boy, " and that's... Well that's Luke." He says hinting over to the guy lying on the ground and moaning from the punch.

Calum walks the few steps over to me and places his hand on my back pushing me to where the boys were standing on the lawn. I look down at the boy I now know as Luke and I ask
"You alright?" He looks over at me, smiles and nods and then looks over and Michael and says
"Dick" Michael makes that "tut tut" sound and goes on to say
"There is no excuse for being rude to a stranger." Luke just moans as his response and rolls onto his side, obviously not getting up any time soon. Silence.

Calum makes the silence stop by questioning me further about who I am.
"So where ya from?"
"Melbourne." I reply bluntly
"Ooooo. Where are you going to school?"
"WS High School"
* made that up and side note short for Western Sydney *
He smiles at me and says
"Aw yay, we all go there. Good school."

This won't be so bad now. I know someone at my school, at least

Ashton speaks up
"You should hang with us at school, we can show you around and stuff." I smile
"Thank you" I reply with complete happiness and thinking that I won't die on my first day.

"So where are you living" asked Luke. I give him my attention and now he is finally standing but leaning up again a tree griping his stomach with both hands.

"Four houses that way" I say as I point to the direction I had came.
"Oh nice. I like that house" Michael chips in.
"I should be getting back..." I start to turn around
"Wait" someone grabs onto me "number please." It was Luke.
"Um ok" he gives me his phone and I type in my number in a new contact and hand it back to him.
"Alright bye guys"
"We'll show you round tomorrow, alright." Ashton tells me
"Yeah, ok, thanks." I reply as I walk away from that front lawn.

I step into my actual house finally. As you first walk in I saw a big room, I guess the lounge as I see some new couches in there plus our tv. Then down the hall is the stairs and a few doors and past that is the kitchen. I walk into the kitchen and I see my mum making food,
"Oh there you are Zoe, where on earth did you go. I was going to go look for you in a minute"

Gee thanks "in a minute"

"I was nowhere. Meet some boys." She softly sighed and told me to go look around. I walk up the stairs not bothering to look at the other rooms on the first floor. Again hall way which is behind me and a smaller lounge as you first get up the stairs. I walk down the hall way to see 3 doors one to the right, one left and one facing me, which is the toward front of the house. I open the left door and it's the master bedroom, I open the right door and that's where Rach is. So I walk to the door facing me and I open it up to reveal, a bed two windows facing onto street, both with a window seat and a wardrobe. It was quiet big to be honest.

I set up my things, making this room really feel like home by putting a few imagine dragons posters up. Putting all my clothes away and getting out my belongings and putting then in places. Nothing amazing.

After dinner I head to sleep. Not bothering to check my phone....
