Love at first Skate

* Note: Hi readers! Here's my new story, I do not own any hockey players that are in here. I'm going to surprise you who it is! And the main character is a made up one, hope you enjoy my story!*

My name is Natalie Wilson, I'm 22 years old and I go to Michigan State University. I'm 5'4", I have brown eyes and long straight brown hair. I play for the girls hockey team, and I play center. I have a boyfriend he's 5'9" and he also has brown eyes and brown hair. He plays hockey for the boys team. He's not like me, he's a defensemen. He's number 44 and he's the captain of his team, I'm also the captain of my team but my number is 47. I have been dating my boyfriend for 3 years and my parents haven't met him yet. Our season is almost over, if my team wins one more game we are state champions! I'm going to school to become a nurse, my boyfriend was going to be a scientist. He has applied to the Boston Bruins, so now we're waiting to hear back if he made the team or not. I have hockey practice right now, my roommate is also on the team. Her name is Stephanie Nolan, she has the same major as me.

"Natalie, shoot out practice." Coach Jackie said.

"Ok, you got it coach." I said.

I skated to center ice, the puck was right in front of me. The whole team was watching, the boys hockey team had practice after us. So on the visitors bench was the whole boys hockey team, I looked over at my boyfriend and he smiled at me and I smiled back. I took a deep breath and starting skating with the puck faking left going right and shooting the puck top shelf. The goalie totally missed the puck, it went straight into the net. Both teams cheered, I skated past both benches to get high fives from both teams. I got to our bench and then someone pulled on my arm a little.

"Great shot babe." My boyfriend said.

"Thanks Torey." I said to him.

He hugged me real quick and then skated back with his team. Yes, my boyfriend in fact is Torey Krug.

I walked down the tunnel into the locker room to get all my hockey gear off, I talked to the girls in the locker room for a little.

"With that shot Natalie, we'll win the state championship." Stacie said. (One of the other teammates)

"Thank you! But it's not just me, you girls are so good!" I said to all of them.

Coach came into the locker room and game us a quick pep talk, tomorrow's the game that we need to win to be state champs. I changed into a pair of skinny jeans, my Michigan State hockey shirt and my grey sweatshirt that also says Michigan State hockey and on the back my last name and number. I threw on my ugg boots, and walked out with my hockey bag and brought it over to my car in the parking lot. I unlocked the car and then put my bag in the trunk, I grabbed my perfume from PINK that was called sun kissed and sprayed my self with it. I walked back into the hockey arena. I sat in the seats for the crowd, I was on the phone with my mom.

"Hey mom, are you and dad flying here for the championship game?" I asked.

"Of course we are! We would never miss this!" She said.

"Yay! I can't wait for you to get here! You can finally meet Torey!" I said.

"I can't wait to meet him, the pictures of you two are so cute together!" She said.

"Thanks, I have to go mom. Torey's practice just got over. Call me when you get to Michigan." I said.

"Ok bye honey, I love you and I'll call as soon as we land." Mom said.

"Bye love you too, have a safe flight." I said and then hung up.

I motioned to Torey that I would be out in the car, I walked out unlocked it and started the car. I plugged in my phone and turned on the radio.
