As I walk into the police station I look around at all of the  police officers and guards either holding onto people in handcuffs, having conversations, eating and drinking or filling out papers.

I jog up to the front desk, to a young looking lady around her mid-20s. She has light brown hair, and what looks to be dark brown eyes. She looked way too young to be working at the police department, especially around dangerous people.

She looked up at me, obviously sensing my presence. "Hello Ma'am, what could I do for you today?" The girl asked, smiling. Ok, why can't everyone be this nice? Oh, wait to hang on nevermind the world would be boring.

I smiled back at her, returning the friendly gesture, "yes, please

I smiled back at her, returning the friendly gesture, "yes, please. I would like to report a missing person." I said seriously, wiping the smile off my face when I asked. She stared at me in shock. Until she looked down at her computer then back at me.

"What is the name of the person?" She asks while typing on the keyboard,

I sighed and ran a hand through my hair,  "her name is Jade Partridge, long dark brown hair, hazel eyes, 24 years of age, parent's names are, Jessica Partridge, and Tanner Partridge." I tell the girl as she puts that down in her computer.

She looked at me and nodded, "OK, the information has been sent through to the FBI since they are the best at finding people, OK?" I just nodded at her and walked  towards the exit.

I was just about to step outside when the girl that helped me  back in there came running up to me. I turned around and smiled.

"Um... my name's Paige. Umm..uh Do you want to go to the mall sometime?" Paige asked, rubbing the back of her neck. Huh, I guess she's nervous. But why?

"Yea sure, you know you don't have to be nervous to ask people. You know that right?" I asked her.

She shook her head and laughed nervously. "I've never actually had any friends before so I wouldn't know how to approach someone." She states.  My jaw dropped.

She smiled nervously.

"how the hell have you never had friends before, are they blind or something? No one can miss you, you are so pretty." I say, dumbfounded.

She smiled, showing her pearly white teeth. "Thank you, but I'm nowhere as pretty as you. Your nice blonde hair and blue eyes," she says while sighing, I feel sorry for her. Jade won't mind after we find her that we have another friend.

I look at her while getting a notepad and pen out of my purse and writing my mobile number on it. "Here you go, it's my mobile number, just text me anytime when you feel like hanging out. And once we find Jade she is going to love you." I speak, as her face lights up as she takes the number from my hand and folds the paper and slides it into her back pocket.
