DON'T PLAY MUSIC YET

Y/N POV

I was reading the lion the witch and the wardrobe when my mother took my book.

"Y/N you need to get dressed."

"oh but mom I'm almost done"

"Go take a shower. I have an outfit set out for you ."

"OK but can I have my book back?"

She sighed handing me my book. After I took my shower and got dressed I sat down and started reading my book not knowing that the people that were singing got done with it

"Let's see who's next."

The spotlight landed on a boy and me. The announcer grabbed my hand and pulled me to the stage while the boy was protesting

"....I really can't sing."

Play music now

TROY: Living in my own world

Didn't understand
That anything can happen
When you take a chance

Y/N: I never believed in
What I couldn't see
I never opened my heart
To all the possibilities

BOTH: I know that something has changed
Never felt this way
And right here tonight
This could be the start
Of something new
It feels so right
To be here with you ..oh
And now ... looking in your eyes
I feel in my heart
The start of something new

Now who'd ever thought that
We'd both be here tonight
And the world looks so much brighter
With you by my side
I know that something has changed
Never felt this way
I know it for real

This could be the start
Of something new
It feels so right
To be here with you
And now looking in your eyes
I feel in my heart
The start of something new

I never knew that it could happen
Till it happened to me
I didn't know it before
But now it's easy to see

It's the start
Of something new
It feels so right
To be here with you
And now looking in your eyes
I feel in my heart

That it's the start
Of something new
It feels so right
To be here with you
And now looking in your eyes
I feel in my heart
The start of something new
Start of something new
The start of something new

The crowd erupted into cheers. The boy looked at me and held out his hand.

"Troy." He yelled over the crowd

"Y/N." I yelled back.

We went outside.

"You sound amazing. Do you do choir?"

"Church choir I tried singing a solo and I nearly fainted."

"Why's that?"

"I saw everyone staring and the next thing I know I was staring at the ceiling. End of solo career. So you sound like you've been singing for a long time."

"yea my shower head is very impressed."

"I have to go find my mom."

"Yeah, me too, I mean, not your mom ,My mom... and dad, Uh... I'll call you, I'll call you tomorrow"

"Yeah!"

"Here, put your number in, Here,"

"You too,"

We take a picture of each other.

"There you go,"

I left before he could say anything else.
