I was walking to my next class when I saw troy sneaking around to the auditorium. I followed him to see what he was up to and notice he was behind a custodian cart.
"What are you doing superstar?" I asked him. He jumped and looked at me in surprise. "And why are hiding behind a custodian cart?"
"Well I wanted to watch to auditions and I guess I didn't want anyone to see me" he told me. We snuck ove to a pair of chairs and watched the auditions
I slightly cringed at most of them. I leaned over to Troy "is she always this harsh?" He nodded. Then I heard mrs Darbus call out, "now for the couple audition the only ones are sharpay and ryan"
I raised my eyebrows impressed.
"Is there anyone else who would like to audition, no. Then we're done"Mrs Darbus called out turning out her director light. I then made a split second decision and called out "I'd like to audition Mrs darbus!"
"Ms montez in the theater you must be early and who is going to sing with you?" She asked me.
"I will" I heard behind me. I turned around and troy had his hand up.
"Mr Bolton where is your basketball posse or whatever you call them?" She asked him.
"Team, and they dont know I'm here" he replied to her.
"Well its really too late you cant audition I'm sorry." She replied. We frowned slightly when all of a we heard someone fall on the stage. We looked up and it was kelsi the pianist. We ran up and helped her pick up the music she dropped. I smiled at kelsi and she shyly smiled back. Troy said something that I didn't understand and I noticed kelsi didn't either. "I mean this is your show." He said to her. She looked at him and then at me and said "do you wanna hear how the song is supposed to sound?"
We nodded and went to the piano
All of a sudden we heard Mrs Darbus behind us "kelsi the song in the second act work with them"
