Chapter 2: Curiosity, sucks.

Eternity's P.O.V

   I must be crazy. I'm probably sleeping right now, yea when I wake up this will all blow over.

   I quickly ran into my bedroom, and grab a right hand glove so no can see the words.

    I slip the glove on. While I slip the glove on I could feel it start burning again, so I do it quickly.

   After, that I jump into bed. Coverings my self with blankets. And adding pillows under my head.

    I just stare at the wall.Trying to think this is not happening.I didn't just hear voices.I didn't just hear a women scream, or almost get raped. And, I especially didn't have words carved into my hand.

   I take my right hand out from under the covers.Examining, my right hand knowing it's still there.I bring my hand back down and close my eyes.

   I hear lighting strike.

   I Could feel my self drifting off to my wonder land. Before, I fall I know one thing.

   That this was just the beginning.

Caleb's P.O.V (Eternity's older brother)

   Today, is the day.

   The day where one of us gets chosen.

   The day, one of us inherit the powers. That can give and take lives.That can over power the good and the evil. But, the one chosen will live a short life. Like dad did.

   Today, the whole family is here to see who will be chosen. Some times,  other relatives get chosen. So, all my cousins and brothers are here.

   We're all currently sitting in a row. I'm in between, my brothers, Nolan and Jack.

   "We may begin." Mom saids.She then waves her hand, and we all stand.

   A knife, floating in mid air. I know my mom is a witch, but I didn't know she can make things float.

   She says a few words, I can't understand, the language. And, all my aunts and uncles stand too.

   They say that the knife will come in front of you. You will have to slice it across your hand, over a cup of nothing but wine. And that you will learn, how to control power. We all have been training for years. Its takes at least a life time to learn.

   My train of thought breaks when, the lights turn off. There are gasps all around the room. You could tell this doesn't happen all the time.

   A few moments and the lights come back on. And the knife is gone.But it leaves a message.

N o t   e v e r y O n e   i s  h e r e.

    I look around the room to see everyone, except the one person I haven't seen for two years now.

    Eternity.

Cole's P.O.V

   Running in the rain is one of the best things you could do.The rain drops, hitting my fur. The wind whistling in my ears.

   It's been awhile, since i ran in my wolf form. As the alpha, I'm to busy in the office. I have no time any more.

   As, I start running more deeper into the woods. I start to smell a fascinating scent.

       Like, pepper mint and vanilla.

     I instantly stop my tracks, and follow the toxicating smell. It takes about five minutes. To stop at a big tall house, painted green as if to blend in with the woods.

   There is a big shady tree by an open window. Without hesitating I  shift and climate the big tree. I hang by one of the branches near the window.

   There I see the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. With black curly hair, perfect lips, long tan leg. She looks like an angel. She's my angel.

   "Mate" Was all I said and I knew. I wasn't going anywhere without her.
