Just a neighbor? (dizza fan fiction)

Chapter 3

Liza's P.O.V
I woke up the next morning to my ringer. I checked my phone and wondered if I should answer.

It was hunter.
-
I declined. I felt bad but, I hate lying to him.
I rolled over on my back and sighed. I thought about David. I wonder if I should call him.
No. No. No. I need to stop.
I sighed one more time and got out of bed. I walked grumpily down to the kitchen and made some cereal. I went in Gabbie's room to go see if she wanted to get coffee.
"hey g. wanna grab some coffee? my class started at ten."
"no i'm good you can just leave me here like you did last night."
"oh my gosh! i'm so so so sorry. i can't believe i did that. i'm sorry g"
"yeah. ok well. bye"
Gabbie got out of bed and pushed me out the door then slammed it on my face. I get why she was mad but, that was rude.
Instead, I go get coffee by myself.

I ordered my drink and went over to wait by the napkins and straws. I ordered Gabbie something. Maybe she will forgive me. I turned around to see David right behind me.
"hey i'm sorry" I said. I tried not to show my face but he saw me anyway.
"no your fine. it's Liza right?" he smiled
"yeah. hey um david" I paused but before I could say anything back he interrupted.
"about last night. I'm so sorry i really didn't mean to push anything on you." he said
I was relived that I didn't have to say it.
"but if you ever want to go out to eat or something give me a call."
"oh yeah sure. um let me see your phone"
We exchanged numbers. after that they called his name and  we shared our goodbyes then my name got called too.
David walked out of Starbucks and I waited till I couldn't see him anymore. I smiled and thought what it would be like if I dated him.
On the walk back to my dorm I checked my watch. I had 1 hour before class started.

When I walked home there was a sticky note on the table. It said: At class don't call or text me thanks. I  didn't listen to the note and i texted Gabbie I brought her coffee. She doesn't even have class today.
I walked into my room and got dressed and ready for my first day. After I was all ready I left.

After the long day of school. I walked home and tried to avoid every person that talked to me. I didn't want to be mean I just couldn't take it anymore. I'm done. With everyone.
When I got back I saw an extra pair of shoes. I yelled Gabbie's name because I knew they were hers.
"Liza?" Gabbie yelled back. She sounded confused. I ran to her room.
She was sitting on her bed crying. "I'm so sorry." she said.
"for what?" She hesitated then sighed.
"I'm not mad at you but you will be with me."
"i'm glad your not mad but what?" I went over and sat on her bed next to her. She wouldn't look at me in the eye. Then she said.
"hunter and I kissed"

haha sorry it's short. i wanted it to end like that. don't worry i have an idea for the next chapter 😏
