Years have passed sense Twilight became an Alicorn. She has faced many challenges and seen many things others could only dream of. Magic Portals that travel through time, faced off with Changelings, Terik, Sombra the Shadow Pony, and others still. Even after becoming an Alicorn, and taking on her own apprentice in Starlight, she still continued to study magic. She may be the Princess of Friendship, but she was still the Element of Magic as well. So now as time passed she still felt like something was missing. Studying book after book from her mentor Princess Celestia. Having tutoring sessions with Princess Luna, and practice with Starlight and Sunburst. Even after all that she still felt like she did not understand all there was to magic.
"Ok Twilight, we are heading out." Spike the Dragon told his friend as he and Starlight were heading out on trips.
Spike was going to spend some time with Empress Ember and other dragons, while Starlight was going to spend some time back in the village she came from.
"Ok, I will miss you two." Twilight responded. "Will see you when you get back."
"What are your plans while we are gone?" Starlight asked.
"Well, Princess Celestia sent over some books from the StarSwirled section. I will give them a look more than likely."
"Just make sure you don't lock yourself in all weekend again." Spike spoke up.
"Yeah, you might miss something." Starlight stated with a laugh. Shortly followed by Twilight and Spike. The three of them went there separate ways and Twilight went back to her library."Well I should get to work." Twilight said to her self looking at a stack of 13 books that she had received just the other day, but due to her Princess duties she had yet had a chance to get to them. Hours passed and she has now learned more spells from StarSwirled, but even still she still felt unfulfilled as the magic element.
"Starlight, and Trixie know spells that I still have not learned. How do I learn to become better with magic?"
Just as she finished asking herself that question she picked up the next book in the stack. As if the stack was responding to her.
"The Truth Of The Magic Inside" she read the title aloud. "Could this be what I have been looking for?"
She began to read. After an hour or so she reached a point in the book that she felt like it was calling to her.
"True magic does not just come from one side. It is found when one truly finds both sides of one coin. At that point they must see what they miss. Only once both sides have seen each other can true magic be unlocked."
"What does that mean?" She asked herself. "Maybe if I go see Sunburst in the Crystal Kingdom maybe he can shine some light on this? Besides, it will give me a chance to visit my daughter while I'm there."
