Twilight Lost

Chapter 5

While the others are trying to find there problems to solve, a dark portal has been open to Tartarus. In it we see a caged villain from the past, Terik.
"How many years has it been now sense I was imprisoned here once more?" He asked himself out loud. After all he was alone here.
"More years than I can count now Terik." A familiar voice was heard though he did not pick up on it right away.
"Who is that? Where are you?" Terik asked the voice.
"Oh I'm somepony you know all too well. You once sought me out in Equestria. You were seeking the magic I possessed, and even after you had it you lost it all to me in the end." The voice continued.
"I know you don't I? Yes I remember now. You are the one who sent me back to this pit, Princess Twilight." He finally remembered.

As soon as he said her name she appeared right in front of him. "Ah I feel special." She said with a bit of a dark tone. "You remember me?"
"Why, but of course I do. How could I forget that defeat at the hooves of you and your friends?" Terik was not happy to see her at all. "Come to brag about how long it has been and how powerful you have become?"
"No. that is not why I am here." Twilight responded instantly.
"Than why would the Princess of Friendship come all the way here to see me?" Terik asked in a mocking tone.
"Oh I just wanted to check up on you. Oh and to say thank you." Twilight's response took Terik by surprise.
"Thank me? For what exactly?" He asked confused at the comment.
"Oh to thank you for this!" No sooner did she finish her eyes began to glow pure white. Her horn showed magic of a black and green color.
"Wait, what is this?" Terik was unsure of her intention. Till he started to get weak.
She had drained what little magic he had left. "Thanks once again." She said as she turned and entered a dark portal. "I will see you later, or maybe I won't." She left the now extremely weak Terik alone in Tartarus.
"How did she learn that? He thought as she left. "Why would she do this to me? Isn't she supposed to be a hero?"

A new portal had opened. This time it appeared in the new hive of Queen Chrysalis.
"So this is where she ran off to?" Twilight thought to herself as she walked around the room she appeared in. She discovered that Changlings where here as well, no where near what they once had in numbers, but still quite a few to see. "Now where is she?"

Twilight began to search the hive, but for some reason she began to feel like she was getting no where at all. "Wait, what was that Starlight told me?" She thought back to when she was captured. "That's right, only Changlings can navigate in here. If I can't get to her under normal means, than let's try something else." As a grin grow on her face, she had a great idea. She decided that if she couldn't get to her target, she would bring her target to her.

Twilight used a spell dark in color and blasted a hole in one of the walls. "That should get there attention." Sure enough, no sooner did she cast the spell did a swarm of about ten Changlings come out of a door and were staring down the Alicorn. "Oh well, you got me." Twilight put up no resistance what so ever and let them capture her and take her to their Queen.

"Ah Twilight Sparkle." Came the dark voice of Queen Chrysalis. "Silly pony, did you think just cause I many not have the numbers I once did you could take out my hive all on your own?"
"Well that thought did cross my mind, but that is not why I am here."
"No, oh wait I know. You think you can convince me to turn good? HAHAHAHAHA" her laughter echoed in the chamber. "Really now?"
"Nope, not at all. I know you will not change just cause I came to you." Twilight's words confused Queen Chrysalis some. "Truth is I did come to see you though."
"Than what do you want before I devour the love you have?" The Queen was getting fed up with this back and forth.
"Oh I just want to thank you for showing me true power."
"True power you say?" This really did confuse Chrysalis even more.
"Why yes, you rule your subjects through power and fear. It shows your strength to do what you need to do. That is something I did not have............. until now!" As soon as she finished she flexed her wings and ripped open the cocoon that she had been trapped in.

"That is not possible? No pony, not even an Alicorn should be that strong. But being free changes nothing."
Chrysalis took a stance and cast an attack spell at Twilight. The spell missed as Twilight dodged it in the air.
"Oh Chrysalis, you don't seem to understand anything."
"I understand that even though you can fly you still lose." Chrysalis took the sky to give chance. Readying an even more powerful spell. As she sent the blast at Twilight, she just stayed still ready to take the blast.
"Just what I wanted." Twilight's eyes went white and here horn glowed Green and Red this time.
As the blast reached Twilight, Chrysalis felt odd. She could not stop using her magic and it seemed to have no effect on Twilight.
"Thank you for being so predictable Chrysalis." Twilight said with an evil grin. "So this is what changling magic is like."
The blast finally disappeared and Chrysalis fell to the ground of the room. "How, how could you do that to me?" She questioned Twilight.
"You ask that after all you did to me and my "friends"? Really now. But don't worry, I'm not going to finish you. Just remember that I do have all that magic and love you once had, and there is nothing you can do about it." Twilight turned and headed to a black/red portal. "Oh, and thanks for the meal." She left and the portal closed.
