Chapter 1: The past

|before i strat this i just wanna give a quick shoit out to Geek_Day_Teen cause shes an amazing writrer snd yeah. also all the janiel fanfics i read shout out to all of you guys. anyways here's the first chapter of my new book|

Laci's p.o.v

My parents have always been horrible. That explains why I'm here in this crusty place you call an orphanage. Let's just say my past want exactly all that. It still haunts me until this day.
○○○○○○○○○○ flashback○○○○○○○○○○○

   I came home from school hoping I would get another beating from my dad. He's given me bruises all over me arms. He even abuses my own mother.
That day I came home from school was the worst.
   I opened the white door to my house. After I closed it I heard yelling upstairs. I ran upstairs and listened to the conversation. "YOU SHOULD JUST LEAVE NOW!!!" my dad yells making me scared inside "I'm not leaving you here with my daughter, just so you can hurt her more!" She yells back with the intent to save me. It didn't work. "Your gonna get it now " he says. All I hear from there is my mom screaming in pain from the beating she's getting. I then heard a gun sound. I heard nothing else. I ran into the room and layer down next to my mom."Mom?" I asked on the verge of tears."honey...just..know..i..love you..." those were her last words before she blacked out. I sobbed as I looked at her lifeless body. At that moment I knew she was gone. I had no one else who loved me.

No one else who cared about me

No one to one to love.

I'm jut alone

I ran to find a phone quickly. I called the police.
P- police
L- Laci

P- this is lapd. What's your emergency

L- help me. My dad jut murdered my my mom.

P- ok calm down sweetie, ok where do you live

L- I live on 2890 Jackson road. Please send help quick I'm scared

P- alright sending help right now. OK sweetie

L-  OK thank you so so so much.

I hang up the phone and just pray everything will turn out ok. About a few minutes later the police and ambulance arive.

They open the door since it was already open and run straight up the stairs to find , y dad trying to hide mom's dead body. I shutter st the sight. One police officer pulls me aside and ask me a few questions. "OK so do you know what happened before this?" I almost cried but I was sting and held back the test and told him what happened. He wrote everything down in his journal type thing and told e e y thing will be alright. They took me in a police car to an orphanage with a whole bunch of kids. I was scared out of my mind and I was only 4. I've lived in thst orphanage a year now and I hate it.

  I absolutely hate the headmistress here. She doesn't like me. All I do is work everyday. But when we get free time, I watch my favorite with my best friend maddie. We absolutely adore him. We watch him when we can. I look up to him. I think of him as m father rather than the bitchy one I had before. I just hope one day I get adopted with maddie cause I can't live without her.
