With that word I broke.
My world shattered.
I'd hurt the person I love the most without even thinking about it.
All those days when I was on X factor, when I was playing gigs, when I ignored all her calls and texts because I was too self centred to notice.
I sat on the bed and sat her on my lap. She put her head into my chest and hugged me. I wrapped my arms round her and held her tight.
She looked up at me, her eyes full of tears and hurt, and said "You said you'd never forget me"
my heart shattered for the second time that day.
"I know, I'm the shittiest friend ever"
My eyes were lining with tears now.
I watched as she buried her head in my chest again.
She was going white.
I looked at her wrist.
The bed sheet was stained red.
"I feel dizzy" She whispered
Oh crap.
Suddenly she went limp...
