I freeze in shock. For a second I was confused as to why it was so important for us to have bees in our lives, but then I realized without bees humanity as we know it could break down! I don't really know what to think right now. I swiftly glance around the room to see if anyone else is bothered by this and let me tell you, every one is deathly silent. We all knew that bees were becoming scarcer but never expected them to go extinct. My phone drops out of my sweaty fingers and slaps on my lap. My parents are pale and look like they could use some water. I quickly get up and head to the small cafe and get two water and slap some 1 dollar bill on the counter. The man murmurs a slow thank and I walk away. I look around for my parents and spot them right were they were before. My mother is shaking while my father is rubbing her back unconsciously. I step in front of them and hand them the water bottles. People low panicked voices makes its way to my ears. " we need to go now" my father says. I nod absently and grab our hand carry ones. W
Walk through all the security stuff and slowly walk out as people rush out past us. We finally get out to the car and get inside. I look over to the left and see some homeless man sobbing in the corner. I walk over to him and give him a five dollar bill but he had other plans. He quickly snatches the money away and get up and grads my neck and tightens his hold. I flail my arms like a new born child as a try and gasp for air. I see black around my line of vision and start to get faint. Out off no where my father comes out of no where and kick the guy in the gut hard. I gasp greedily for air as I take big mouthful of it. In the back round I her grunts and muffled screams. I look back and see my father chocking out the dirty homeless man. He jerks up and falls to the ground limp. I gasped. " the world is no longer safe, we all need to watch out backs from now on. My mother wraps her arms around me and checks my neck. The red angry skin hurts and is starting to bruise. We get in the car and buckle out seat belts and drive out of the car garage. " I'm sorry" I chock out. " I was just trying to help. He looked miserable and sad so I thought I could help him." " no don't blame yourself" my mother soothes. " you were being kind and caring just like we raised you but you need to be more carful." I nod my head shamefully and close my eyes. I hope when I wake up thinks will be better. I hear my parents say something but i was to tired to pay attention but now that I look back I give anything to know what they said.
