"Ugh. Lauren, I actually hate my plan right now." Normani complained as she shifted from her position. They are currently inside a fish cargo and obviously the smell is not that pleasant to the nose but this is the only way they could get into Miami. Lauren smirked and shook her head. " Well suck it up, Mani. This is the best thing we could ever get and i also think this is like you best plan ever." Lauren said teasing her friend who sent her a death glare. "I hate you sometimes." Normani mumbled and Lauren laughed to her best friend's behavior.
They fell into a comfortable silence when Normani noticed Lauren looking at a piece of paper, the paper contains informations about Camila and also the brunette's recent photos. "You have great choice, you know." Normani said. Lauren looked at her, eyebrows furrowed. "What?" Lauren said. "I said you have a great choice, that..." Normani pointed to the paper in Lauren's hand. "Dr. Cabello? is a one great catch, How did the two of you met?" Normani continued. The green eyed woman sighed and kept the paper inside her coat. "It's none of your business, Mani." Lauren said clenching her jaw. "So, i can't ask about your past relationship?" Normani said shoving Lauren playfully, the other woman chuckled a little. "No." Lauren said. "Ugh, best friends talk about their past or present boyfriends or girlfriends or even stupid crushes and you wont? damn Lauren. I once ranted about my stupid ex boyfriend and you were all ears and you can't share your relationship... i mean past relationship with that Cabello? i'm deeply hurt." Normani said dramatically as she tried to pretend that she's deeply hurt but in reality she's just messing with Lauren. "Still no." Lauren said laughing. "Can you just tell me how you guys met so that i can forget about these stinky fishes?" Normani said and Lauren laughed loudly. "Fine, fine..." Lauren said putting her two hands up and Normani squealed excitedly. "I met her when i was in high school..."
[FLASHBACK]
"Excuse me," a voice said from behind, Lauren is getting one of her books from her locker and ignored the voice when someone poked her shoulder. "Excuse me," the voice called again. Lauren turn around annoyed to whoever that person that interrupted her. "What?" she said as she came face to face to the owner of the voice. Her heart rate went wild when she realized how close she is to the beautiful girl in front of her. The girl is wearing a gray crop top and a black skinny jeans. 'cutie' Lauren thought. "Umm..." the other girl began to speak. "ah.. do you know where this room is? i'm-i'm kinda lost, i think."The girl said awkwardly shoving a paper on Lauren's face. Lauren pulled a paper from her bag and sketched something in it. "Okay, you see this arrow?" Lauren pointed the other girl nodded "Follow that and it'll lead you to that room, 'kay?" Lauren asked the girl smiled and she almost dropped her things, the girl is so damn beautiful... and hot, and cute and- "I'm ca-Camila, thank you." Lauren was pulled out of her thoughts when she heard the girl's name, Lauren nodded and the girl ran away from her leaving her confused on what just happened.
Camila followed the arrow but it led her to the guard house, she was about to walk away when a boy approached him. "Excuse me," the boy said. "You seem lost." he continued. "I think so.." Camila said. "Can i see that?" The boy said pointing to the sketch she's holding. CAmila gave the paper and said, "I'm actually looking for room 370 and someone sketch that for me, she said if i follow that it'll lead me to that room but i think she tricked me." Camila said starting to get annoyed with the girl she met a while ago. "Oh. Lauren? you know black hair, green eyes?" The boy asked Camila. "I don't know her name but she has black hair and green eyes and well, she's pretty too." the boy laughed and Camila looked at him confused. "Sorry for that, Lauren always do this to new students, I'm Austin by the way and i assume you saw her near her locker?" Austin asked Camila nodded. He smiled "It's just accross Lauren's locker." Austin said and patted Camila's shoulder, "Nice to meet you, Camila. I gotta go." He said, as he turn around and walked away. "Thank you." Camila shouted and Austin gave her a thumbs up, Camila traveled back to the building and into room 370.
Camila knocked on the door and open it slowly, she found room 370 and apparently the class started already. She walk inside the room and the teacher eyed her. Camila gulped and cleared her throat. "I'm Camila Cabello, i'm in this class." Camila said. All eyes on her making her feel conscious. "Can i see your form?" The teacher said. Camila handed her form to the teacher, The teacher nodded and looked at her again. "You're in my class, I'm Ms. Clarkson. You sit there at the back beside Ms. Jauregui." Ms. Clarkson said. Camila looked at the back and saw the girl who put her in this not-so embarrassing situation, "Ms. Clarkson, no one sits beside me." Lauren complained stubbornly. "Well you have a seatmate now, Lauren." Ms. Clarkson said and Lauren rolled her eyes. Ms. Clarkson looked at Camila and she hurriedly took the seat beside Lauren. "How was your trip to the guard house, Ca-Camila?" Lauren said trying so hard not to laugh. Camila didn't utter a word but Lauren spoke again. "You're a cutie you know?" Camila sighed and turn to Lauren. "Shut up." She said. "Oooh fiesty, i like that." Lauren said.
'I hate her' Camila thought still annoyed at Lauren. She spent the whole class with that bitch who keeps on saying inappropriate things to her like, 'We can be fuck buddies' and all sorts of thing that she tried so hard to ignore. Camila explored the school and found a beautiful garden at the back of it. She stepped on the green grass and admired the view of colorful flowers in front of her. "I can't believe you'll follow me here." The raspy voice behind her said and Camila furrowed her eyebrows knowing who that person is. "Lauren? what are you doing here?" Camila asked as she turn around seeing Lauren smoking. "I'm having weed sesh here, wanna join?" Lauren smirked as she started to walk closer to Camila, the other girl shoved Lauren and run away leaving Lauren at the garden who's laughing so hard.
"You're a new student, right?" A girl with a blond hair said. Camila looked at her and smiled. "Yeah, I'm Camila." she siad extending her hand the girl shook it and sat beside her. "I'm Dinah Jane Hansen, you should hang out with me more because i'm the school's-"
"The school's biggest loser." Someone said from behind. Dinah and Camila looked behind them to find a smirking Lauren with sunglasses on, hiding her eyes. "Yeah, and you're like, the biggest bitch of this school." Dinah fires back, Camila held the younger girl and calmed her down. "Don't mind her." Camila said as they hear Lauren's laughter from the back.
The next day, Camila spent most of her time ignoring Lauren and hanging out with Dinah more. At luch, she sat beside Dinah. She was talking animatedly to the Polynesian when something or rather someone caught Dinah's attention and all of the people inside the cafeteria. Camila stopped talking and followed Dinah's gaze. There wearing an all black attire, is Lauren Jauregui. Camila rolled her eyes and ignored the annoying smirk on Lauren's face.
"Hey there, cutie." Lauren said as she stopped at Camila and Dinah's table. Camila ignored her again but Lauren slipped something inside her bag. "If you're still up with the fuck buddy thing, my number's in you bag." Lauren whispered to Camila, while the other girl froze at the feeling of Lauren's hot breath on her skin.
[End of Flashback]
"Oh gosh, you did that?" Normani said laughing histerically. "Shut up, i was being mean that time but... i admit, i Fell in love with her the first time i saw her." Lauren said smiling. "Yoou really love her don't you?" Normani said. The green eyed girl nodded. "I love her so much that i don't care if her father's the reason why i became homeless, i love her so much that i'm willing to give her my life..." Lauren said a tear streamed down her cheek she wiped it and laughed bitterly. "You love her so much that you're willing to sacrifice your life for her."Normani replied. "Love is sacrifice, Mani. you should know that." Lauren said as her bestfriend enveloped her in to a tight hug.
