"THAT GIRL IS A REAL CROWD PLEASER, SMALL WORLD ALL HER FRIENDS KNOW ME, KNOW MEEE-", Willy sang loudly in my ear.

"Willy...if you don't get out of MY GODDAMN EAR SINGING!" I said just as loud as him.

"Well damn.." He said leaning back holding his chest.

"Why you gotta be so ruudee?" He sang directly into my ear just to annoy me more.

Shaking my head laughing at him, I saw Bryson 2.0 looking at me from the corner of my eye, kind of like he was trying to study and figure me out like I'm some kind of math problem. Speaking of math, I gotta do my homewo-

"He is so damn fine!"Carrigan said nudging me.

"Eh, he okay. " I said lying.

"You a damn lie. He is fine!"

"Okay, maybe a little bit." I said smirking.

I walked over to the wall he was leaning on. Baby boy was looking good. But let me not get ahead of myself.

"Why you not dancing?" I asked him curiously hoping he would actually reply this time.

He starred at me blankly with a straight face before he replies, "I don't dance."

"Wow, he actually speaks!"

He just looks at me.

"Why you look serious all the time?" I said nudging him lightly.

"Why do you always ask questions?" He side eyes me a bit.

"Cause' I want to." I said folding my arms looking up at him.

"Don't. It gets annoying." He said with a dull expression.

"Nevermind, forget I said anything to you." I said walking away from him.

"Will do." I heard him call behind my back.

I need food, I thought in my head.

With my most amazing luck, there was a couple grinding and kiss against the fridge. Like really? honestly...truly? I thought in my Joanne The Scammer voice.

"Afeni!" As I looked around confused to see who called me, I saw Ronnie.

"Boy, what you saying my government out loud for?"

"I ain't see you in a minute babygirl. I missed you." He said tryna hug all up on me.

"Little boy, if you don't back up."

"Little boy? Ain't nothing about me little. You tryna find out?"

"Hells the fuck nah." I said walking away laughing to go look for Carrigan.

Looking around I saw her talking to Adam and his friend. She spotted me too, and motioned for me to come over there.

Looking down at my blue juice, I thought, "I need something stronger than this."

"Hey, Ni. I want you to meet somebody." She said once I walked up to them.

"This is Adam's friend Kamarion. Afeni, Kam. Kam, Afeni." She said smiling with a diabolical look twinkling in her eyes.

"He's single; you're single." She announced winking and pushing us together.

Giving her a look that said "We'll talk later."
