In a familiar darkness
His mother was standing
At the edge of a cliff.
Something big was moving Below,
Something bigger than the world.
It was the monster of his nightmare.
He wanted to shout for her to run
But he couldn't ,
There was an invisible weight pressing down on him .
And then the ground shook
And She fell.
He jumped towards her
as dark hands pulled her
over the edge
His hand caught hers.
