Steven fumbled with his keys for his apartment.Once he inserted the key he heard rumbling inside he pulled out his weapon and slowly opened the door.There sitting at the kitchen table was his partner and crush Melissa Mill.
He put his weapon away "Look what the cat dragged in"said Steven
"Haha very funny"said Melissa sitting up straight in the chair.
"So what's up?"asked Steven sitting in the chair next to her.
"Well today I wasn't in the office because that night Rick proposed.And I said yes"Melissa said feeling a relief.
Steven stayed quiet for a long time "So why did you come here to tell me?"asked Steven raising an eyebrow
"My break is the hint for you to take one."said Melissa "Today is her death anniversary"
"I am fine"said Steven taking off his shoes.
"I don't believe that, she was your sister"Melissa stood up and crossed her arms "You better not show up tomorrow" and she left the apartment.
"What happened to personal space?"asked Steven looking out to the open terrace which was pitch black.
Tap tap tap tap tap tap made on the railing by a nail.
"No I won't listen to her I'm going to go to the office tomorrow.Shouldn't you be down at the lab."said Steven

"If you broke my pot out there you will have to buy me another one.And chill down they need to sleep we aren't really humans.Now go before I get in trouble with you know who and then trouble will be waiting for us."said Steven
Steven felt a gush of wind that indicate that they were gone.He could never keep track of who was who in the dark.
