Never Grow Up

Patrick's POV:

Keegan had just had our daughter. We haven't named her yet because we couldn't come up with a good name.

We were just sitting there. Well Keegan was in the hospital bed but you get my point.

"I have a good idea for a name." she said.

"What is it baby?"

"Arielle Leigh Ann Sharp."

"It's perfect!"

"Arielle it is!"

"Yup it is! And there is one thing I wanna do before the nurse brings in the baby."

"Sure."

I walked over to her hospital bed. I pulled out the ring box. I got down on one knee.

"Keegan, we have known eachother for almost a year and have been together for almost a year. I really love you and really don't want to lose you. Keegan Lynn Brennan, will you marry me?"

"Yes. Yes I will marry you!!!!"

I slid the ring on her finger and just after that, the nurse came in with Arielle

She handed her to Keegan.

"Do you guys want a photo taken?" the nurse asked.

I looked at Keegan. She nodded.

"Yeah." I told the nurse.

She nodded. I gave her my phone.

I moved closer to Keegan and

"Smile!" the nurse said.

Then she took the picture.

She handed me back my phone.

"Congratulations!!" she said before leaving.

"Do you wanna hold her?"

"Yes! Give me my daughter!" I laughed.

Keegan laughed and handed me Arielle.

Soon we were able to leave.

I had a game tonight so we brought the diaper bag and stuff with us. Before we left the hospital, we put a little tiny baby jersey on Sam that was mine then put a little baby Blackhawks beanie on her and had black leggings on her with a onsie underneath all of it.

We won the game against the Penguins. Final score was 6-0. Fuckin shutout babay!!!

We introduced Arielle to the players.

Keegan POV:

All of the players left. All that was left was me, Patrick and Arielle.

"I gotta hit the can before we leave." Patrick said.

Really Patrick? Really?

"You know you could have just said you had to use the bathroom right?" I said clearly disgusted.

"Sorry babe,"

"It's okay just go to the bathroom before you pee your pants." I laughed.

He did as told.

I looked down at my daughter in her car seat. She is just the most adorable thing ever!

"Hey babe ready?" Patrick asked.

"Yeah." Patrick picked up the car seat and I got the diaper bag.

We haven't been home yet because we had to go straight from the hospital to Patrick's game.

I looked back at my baby sleeping. God, please let her never grow up.
