I kept my footsteps light as I walked towards the kitchen, once I was there I leaned against the frame of the door and watched a very shirtless Rouge cook french toast for us. I watched as he flipped a few slices, making the muscles in his back flex slowly. I subconsciously lick my lips before I hear a crash from the other side of the room and a few giggles. I looked over and saw two thin tails swishing from side to side while sticking out of the fridge, one red and one pink.

I giggled under my breath making Rouge peek over his shoulder at me, he obviously knew I was there as he could smell me coming in, but the exceeds didn't. I put a finger to my lips indicating him to keep quiet while I slowly walked over to the trouble making cats before swiftly grabbing there tails and pulling them out from the fridge and into the air. They hung there for a second in shock before they saw me and broke into huge grins. "Kat!" They simultaneously yelled before escaping from my grip and tackling me into a hug, literally making me fall onto my butt.

"We missed you so much! Where you been?" Lector asked leaning on my chest to give me another hug with his arms around my neck while Frosh hugged my stomach and said, "Frosh thinks so too!" I giggled at their cuteness. "I saw you guys two days ago silly," I carefully got up while shifting them to each side of me as I carried them, kinda like tiny toddlers. I sat at the breakfast bar and the exceeds flu to stand in front of me. Meanwhile, Sting walked in the kitchen with Zero flying sleepily behind him. Zero swerves a little on his way, but eventually makes it to me and lies down on my head.

"Breakfast is ready," Rouge says while setting a plate of food in front of me with a small smile before setting one in front of Sting who had sat on my left. He then came and sat on my right with his own plate of food. "I'm going fishing! You guys wanna come?" Lector asks while flying off the counter. Frosh replied with an excided 'yeah' while Zero just nodded and followed them out the open, kitchen window. I ate my pancakes and bacon as quickly as possible earning a small chuckle from Rouge and a full laugh from Sting. "What?" I asked them, "Oh, I wanna go to the guild and get a job today." Sting smiled at me, "Nothing, you're just adorable," as he spoke Rouge wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his chin on my shoulder, "So this job you want to go on, can we come?" I giggled as a large smile covered my face. "Of course! It's never the same going on a job without you guys."

(TIME SKIP TO THE GUILD)

Pushing open the large, wooden doors me, Sting, and Rogue walked in only for me to be tackled once again, this time by Yukino. "Oh my god! What took you guys so long, you're always here early?" Sting answered while Rogue pried me from her and into his side, the new yet familiar electricity pulsing wherever our skin touched. "We ate at home instead of getting it here. Plus, we woke up later than usual cause Kat was there."

The four of us continued to talk casually as we walked further into the guild. We arrived at a tabel where Rufus, Minerva, and Orga sat each doing their own thing, Rufus reading yet another rather large book on ancient magic, Minerva painting her nails, and Orga eating a mountain of bacon, eggs, and toast. Yukino sat with them, but we continued to stand making them look up at us. "We're going out on a job. Minerva could you watch the guild for me and Yukino could you watch Minerva and the exceeds?" Sting asked earning him a punch in the stomach from Minerva who nodded never the less, acting as if she hadn't sent Sting to the floor.

Tired of waiting any longer I began pulling the boys with me to the large job board near the entrance. Each of us began looking around and I quickly found one that sounded like fun. Ripping from the board I read it aloud. "Help! A group of five bandits have settled in our village stealing jewel from many shops and homes. They use magic and we do not stand a chance against them. Please, rid us of these men and free our village of fear. 900,000 jewel."

Rouge grunts in agreement to my choice and Sting grins, his hands lighting up with magic, "Oh yeah! We're gonna beat those bandits to a pulp." I smirk slightly and make my way out of the guild saying a quick good bye to those I pass on my way out, knowing very well that Sting and Rogue were following close behind, she could feel their gaze on her making her cheeks heat up.

We headed straight to the train station, not bothering to go home and pack as I have mastered a type of reequip magic that lets me store clothes, food, and anything I might need to survive. In that I've stored clothes for all three of us and survival rations. Once we make it to the station all three of us reluctantly buy tickets and climb aboard the train. Being Dragon Slayers we all have pretty bad motion sickness and it tends to be a pain in the ass when going to and from jobs.

The ride to the village that sent the request was a days trip so we'd get their tomorrow morning. To make it easier for us I made sure we had one of those little room things that have beds in them for over-night trips. Sting and Rouge appreciated it, even if they didn't vocalize it, I could tell by the way they both kissed my cheek while walking away from the ticket booth. The whistle blew signaling we were to board the train and all three of us hurry to our doom.
