Chapter 1 - The Change
As my mother pulled up to the place that I have been curious about since this morning. I couldn't even tell you what my emotions and feelings were. I mean it's not that I cared that much, anything to get out of this house. It's just I'm a girl, girls are not supposed to go through the change. So waking up and looking in the mirror like it's just a normal Tuesday morning. But then noticing that i had wen through the change. That's not something a normal 17 year old girl goes through every day.
Having to walk downstairs and tell my very wonderful and loving mother about it scared me shitless. Note the sarcasm. That wasn't even the worst part. The worst part was that she didn't even care and is making me go to Blaine's Boarding School for the gifted. Yeah because I'm totally blessed and gifted being the only female vampire to exist-ever. Yep, I'm currently the only female vampire to ever exist and I'm taking it pretty well if I say so myself. I mean my mom told me that my father is a vampire as well. Which would make sense seeing as my mother was human.
So here I am. Staring at this giant building that didn't look anything like my old school. It was huge! It actually kind of reminded me of Hogwarts, with more of a modern twist. Yeah I know my harry potter. Anyway, it was located in the middle of nowhere, which made since. You didn't want people just driving around a boarding school full of super naturals. I'll be living here until they say I can handle being around other humans. Well I guess I just admitted that I'm not human anymore.
I put my black leather jacket on along with my Ray Bans and looked in the mirror. I was decent looking. I had long wavy blonde hair and on the right side of my head was shaved. My eyes sapphire blue, lined with the usual black winged eyeliner and mascara. My lips were not too big but full and were colored bright red with lipstick. The boys at my old school took a notice in me, but I never really thought anything of it. Being so lost in my thoughts I barely heard my mother calling my name.
"Sam" my mother impatiently said. "Sam, come on we are here and I have to get to work. Get your bags out of the trunk".
Yep. That's my mom. I don't know if you noticed but she does not even care that this happened to me. Doesn't care that I won't be living with her anymore or that she won't see me anymore. She kind of is a bitch. I shouldn't be that hurt though, she never really showed any emotional attachment you could say for me. It was always work work work with my mother. I didn't really have anyone else besides my friends at my old school. My dad died when I was only one year old. But I have been doing just fine without them.
I didn't say anything back and opened the door and got out of the car. As I grabbed my bags I looked around enjoying the view, I was really just enjoying the brightness and warmth of the sun. I closed the trunk when I had only two bags and my purse. Thank god I'm not like one of those girls who has to have a suitcase just for their shoes. I wasn't that girly and had only had about three pairs of shoes.
"Goodbye Samantha. I'll see you when Mr. Blaine says you are ready to leave" She says has she gets in the car closing the car door, not even taking a glance my way. I roll my eyes. "Whatever mom. Like you even care what happens to me"
I start walking towards the huge doors of the school, I take a quick glance back to see that my mother was already gone. I sigh and walk in, not exactly knowing where I have to go. I look to my right and see a big sign that says 'Office'. Well that's a start, I open the door and right away I see a very stunning women sitting behind a desk. She has long wavy brown hair, along with dark brown eyes that were lined with a thin line of black eyeliner and her eyelashes were really long. She had a simple black dress on with a purple belt wrapped around her waist. She looks up as I walk in and she smiles politely at me.
"Hello." I say and flash a smile a little bigger than necessary so she could my fangs. It was way easier than having to explain to them what I was. She looks shocked at first then seems to come back to realization that I had said anything to her, "Hello, I'm Stacy. Can I help you with anything?" she says to me.
"Um yes. I am new here" I say leaning up against the desk and setting my bags down.
She nods quickly and stands up and knocks on the door that's behind her desk. There's a sign on the door that says director Blaine. I'm guessing he was the one my mother was talking about, he must be in charge here. A very attractive man about 25ish looking, opens the door. He has chocolate brown hair that's a bit messy, like he hadn't ran brush through it at all this morning. Which was okay with me he was still insanely hot, right away he looked over at me. I waved nonchalantly at him with a smile. His eyes widened when he saw my fangs, I licked my lips and smirked. He looked up at me, his eyes were a goldish yellow color
"We have a new student Mr. Blane" Stacy glances at me then to Mr. Blaine. "I see that, Welcome to Blaine's Boarding School for gifted. Please come in so when can get you all set up for a dorm and classes". I nod, pick up my bag, and walk towards the door slowing down when I get towards Mr. Blane. I can feel his stares as I walk by him and into his office. "So do I even need to ask what you are? Or are my eyes deceiving me?" He smiles at me and sit down at his desk. I don't answer right away and set my stuff down. I look around his office it is bigger than I expected it to be. Book cases surround the back and side walls filled with over 200 books. So he likes to read. I look at the books skimming my fingers over them as I walk by and finally I look at him.
"Yep, your eyes are indeed correct. I am a vampire. I'm also a girl which makes me pretty awesome being the only female vampire." I stop and flip open a book quickly taking in what looks like a little bit of what looks like Latin, that's interesting. Never thought someone like him would read something like this before just because he seems to be someone who is more of a this century kind of guy to me.
"That's is very incredible. First female vampire. Well we sort our dorms by gender and what supernatural being you are. Since you are the only female vampire. I think I will just put you in with the other vampires. I hope that won't be problem since you will be the only girl? I assume since you are the first that you probably are very powerful and special. As you grow and develop more, you may notice changes. I don't exactly" He looks at me a little hesitant. I nod in agreement. I mean there cant be that much of a difference between the two. It's not like im going to become some sort of super powerful vampire goddess or anthing! My eyes go wide at the thought of it.
"That shouldn't be a problem, as long as they don't try anything." I raise my eyebrows and look at him.
Is he really going to put me in a dorm full of guys? The more I think about it the less it bothers me. Can it really be that bad? I mean at home all my friends were guys. Nobody has time for all of that girl drama about someone's best friend stealing her man. He just smiles and shakes his head "Of course not, now how about I show you around the school then bring you to your dorm then introduce you to your new roommates." I smile and nod not sayimg a word. Things are not going as bad as I assumed they would.
This is just the beginning of my experience at Blaine's Boarding School for the gifted. Since the first time i laid eyes on him I have been trying to figure out what he is? What could he possible be? I'm merrily just curious, so I look at him. I mean really look at him. Inspecting all his features.
Then I realized with his golden eyes, carmel skin , tattoos running down is arm and neck along with probably the rest of his body. Also noticing his veins popping out of his muscular arms.
That Blaine is a werewolf.

The top dog! Haaaaa see what I did there. So punny.
Anyway this is my first ever story. So I hope it's alright. <3
