Chapter 2 – Meeting the Guys

“Hey, my name is Chace” He smiled and holds out his hand out. I shake his hand and smile back exposing my fangs. “Hi, I’m Samantha. But you can call me Sam”. I’m standing in the hallway waiting for Blaine to get my dorm key that he had forgotten in his office. I was just waiting for him to come back so I started to look around at all the cool modern art. I found a painting on the wall it had an all-white background with vibrant colors just splattered on it. Psh. I could do that in my sleep. I look over at Chace.

“So you’re a female vampire? I was sure that that was never possible?” Chace says to me with a question look. I laugh at his face and explain to him about the change and how I got here. He looks a little shocked but just nods and welcomes me to the school.

“Ahh Chace, I see you have met Sam. Our new female vampire.” Blaine says walking up next to me. I glance at him and see the dorm key in his hand.

“Got the key?” I ask a little too excited. I was seriously curious to see who my roommates would be. Would they be super-hot? Or would they be a sickly pale like Edward from twilight. The thought made me giggle out loud causing both of them to look at me. I looked around casually acting like it didn’t happen. Blaine finally answers “Yes Sam this is your key, calm down”. Okay so I am starting too really like this guy not like a teenage boy crush but for being so like important and in charge of everything here. He was way cooler then my other principal, which was good because my old principal was a serious butthole. Way to butt hurt all the time. This guy was just chill.

I say goodbye to Chace and he waves goodbye to me as he walks away. I look back at him and start thinking about how cute he was. He had a really nice body and it was really sweet of him to come and introduce himself to me. Hopefully he is not one of those guys that just wants to trick me into sleeping with him. I’m way too smart to fall for that stupid crap.

Blaine looks at me. “Come on lets go, I called your roommates while I was in the office. I had to at least warn them that they were getting a new roommate, because most of the time guys are not the neatest.”  I silently thanked him for that. I really hoped that my roommates were not pigs, I cannot stand things being dirty, specially my room. He started showing me around the school, telling me what each class we passed was. Which I was thankful for because I didn’t want it to be where tomorrow comes and I look like a damn lost puppy. Thankfully I had a photographic memory so I remembered where each class was. I’ll tell you what that sure did come in handy while being in school.

As we were walking through the pods of classes, we turned right walked over this building connector, realizing that it was like a bridge going into another building. There was a giant sign saying Dormitory’s in black letters. We walked under the sign and  entered this giant great room. There were bookcases covering the walls from top to bottom filled with books. I had a feeling of excitement, I love to read!  Chairs and tables grouped together in the same area. That must be like a little library study area. In the left corner there was a little kitchen, it had a fridge which looked like it was stocked with food, a microwave, and a medium sized pantry filled with snacks.

Blaine had told me that this was just for when the cafeteria was closed. There were also couches and a flat screen TV on the gray walls. I also noticed that there were computers on the wall right when you walked in. Man they had everything.

“This is the lounge/great room area. This is where you can just hang out in between classes. Oh and by the way you get 15 minutes between each class. Up these stairs are the dorms and they are separated into the different group of vampires,werewolves,fairies, and witches. They are also separated by gender” He explains looking at me.
