"mhm, yeah whatever", she said as she dug her maroon colored card out of her somewhat old Michael Kors wallet

"debit or credit", I asked as I gave her her bag (which she snatched out of my hand)

"does it matter? look I'm on a time crunch and your asking me unnecessary questions", she said with an obvious attitude

"credit it is"

I swiped her card and handed it back to her along with the receipt and with that she was on her way

bitch.

'another day, another dollar... well in this case another attitude' I thought to myself.

30 more minutes.
30 minutes till I get home.
30 minutes till I get to continue to watch the get down
30 minutes till I go to sleep forever and ever and won't have to worry about this damn hell hole that I hate so much.
30 more minutes.

15 minutes left and still no customers. the only thing you can hear is Jhene Aiko's soft voice singing over the intercom.

'ring', the store bell sounded off.
fuck! my everlasting relaxation is interrupted once again.
ok, cool just put on the fakest smile you've got Aaron. you've got 10 more minutes in hell.

"hey, what's up! welcome to vibez record and cd shop. " I said looking to see who came in.

to my surprise it was a girl

as you can tell I'm a very awkward kid when it comes it girls. idk what it is my hands get clammy and I form sweat stains (sometimes)

"hi, I was wondering if you had any more copies of 'One In A Million'? yknow by Aaliyah." the girl said as she made direct eye contact with me

shit... she has really pretty eyes.
no stop getting distracted, just answer her question dipthong.

"yeah, we do. follow me and I'll show you" I said as I hopped over the counter after hearing a 'cool beans' from her

when I tell you that the walk there seemed like forever when it really takes about 15 seconds IT TOOK FUCKING FOREVER!

'Aaron act cool, you're acting like this is the first girl you've talk to before. it's fine just go with the flow my man' I thought to myself and I was searching for album.

I handed her a record copy of it

"how'd you know I wanted the record copy of this? are you following me?" she said with a smirk
"um I, I uh, I mean uh-"
"I'm just kidding kid. besides I wouldn't mind you following me, you're actually pretty cute" she said with a smile

my my my that smile oh my. her smile brings me joy and I've just met her.

"ready to pay?" I said as I walked us back to the front
'mhm'
I put the record in a bag and handed it to her.
"aren't you going to make me pay?" she questioned with a confused yet amused look on her face
"it's on the house" I said as I began to pack up the store and lock up.
"are you sure? do you want anything in return?" she asked as I held the door for her to walk out first

I tell you she has some ass on her for a girl her size.

"no, well not yet at least" I said as I put both my hands in my front pockets
"what do you mean by that?"
"I don't know, I just feel like we're going to meet again soon. and when we do I'm going to remember that pretty smile of yours and you're going to have to remember this solid I did for you. deal?" I said as I stuck my hand out for her to shake on it
"deal"

and with that we went our separate ways.
