Meeting HIM

Chapter 4. Pt.1

I woke up to thunder outside of my window. Great, just what I needed. You should know that I'm scared of thunder. I know, it's silly but I've always been scared of it. Ever since I was a little kid. The sound got louder and louder that I screamed. I picked up my phone and called Damarian. You see, Damarian is my best friend. We've been inseparable since kindergarten.
"Come on....pick up."
She knows about my fear, and usually we just talk the whole night, or until I fall asleep.
"Ugh!" I grunted. She's not picking up. Suddenly Harry's number looked very tempting.
"It's not like I have a choice."
The phone started ringing.
Ring
Ring
That's when he picked up.
"Hello?" his sleepy voice said.
Gosh he was sexy..wait what?!
"Kayla?",he asked slowly,"is that you?".
I took a deep breath.
"Yea...so umm...this is crazy but I'm kinda scared if thunder, and my best
friend isn't answering the phone, so I thought I should try you...and.."
"Shh, Kayla it's okay", he said cutting me off, "I'm glad you called me."
"Are you sure..?", I asked hesitating, "I don't mean to bother you or anything."
"Yea", he replied, "it's okay. So what do you usually do with your friend..?"
"Well...umm...we usually just talk" I say nervously.
"Okay then, let's talk."
